Chapter 77 

She tossed it away without a second thought 

After hanging up the phone, Lucian summoned all the servants in the villa 

One of them carefully said, “I m not sure. I just went upstairs to clean up some trash.” 

Lucian’s face was cold as ice. 

“Ms Flanagan said the tie was too cheap, so she threw it away” 

The room fell silent for a few seconds. 

Holty glanced at Lucian’s face and sensed his displeasure. 

Lucian snorted lightly. “Cheap? 

The servant Irembled, “That’s what Ms. Flanagan said.” 

Lucian seemed to remember her soft voice and her bright, clear eyes, “Do you like it?” 

Since returning from England, he never saw the gentle and considerate side of Penelope again… 

He touched the place where his lie used to be. 

He said sarcastically, “Holly, do you think people can change?” 

Holly lowered her head, ‘Maybe Ms. Flanagan is just throwing a fit.” 

He snorted, stood up abruptly, and instructed Holly, “Give her three months‘ salary and let her go.” 

The servant said, “Mr. Lindberg, please…” 

Lucian had already left in large strides. 

Holly gave her three months‘ salary. “I won’t report this in the housekeeping system, you don’t have to worry about it affecting your future job hunting” 

She said “Holly, I really didn’t throw away Mr. Lindberg’s tie, that tie…” She looked around, lowered her voice, “That tie was thrown away by Ms. Flanagan. Ms. Flanagan said the lie was too cheap to be in Mr. Lindberg’s wardrobe, so she threw it in the trash. I’m just a servant, I listen to what she says…”
