The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 123

Allison cocked an eyebrow.

Was he calling for Allison, not Penelope?

She had no choice but to hail a cab and rush to Red Jack Club.

Room 805. She pushed the door open, her first sight being a pair of long legs. A few steps further, she spotted shattered glass on the carpet. Then, there was Lucian, sprawling on the sofa, one leg hanging lazily off the edge.

His eyes were closed, seemingly napping.

The room was softly lit, casting a gentle glow on his face. His eyes were shut tight, his high nose and handsome features making hearts flutter.

"Mr. Lindberg." She called twice, but Lucian made no response.

She couldn't figure out why Lucian would summon her.

"Lucian."

Wasn't he suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding? And yet, he dared to get drunk.

Her gaze fell on the wine bottles littering the coffee table. He'd downed so much booze.

Suddenly, his lips moved faintly, "Yuliana..."

She leaned in closer. His hot breath brushed against her ear, the name "Yuliana" coming out in a blur.

Yuliana?

Turns out, he wasn't calling for Allison...

She looked at him, knowing she should leave immediately!

Sarah got it wrong, it wasn't her he was calling!

She knew it, how could he possibly call her name?

This wasn't her first time driving his car, she had done it before.

The car moved at a leisurely pace, arriving smoothly at Magnolia Gardens, where Lucian resided.

To Allison's surprise, there was not a single servant in the luxurious mansion.

Supporting him, she struggled to move forward.

"Can you hear me?" Allison huffed, supporting his weight.

She was slim and he was tall and strong. His weight on her slender shoulders made her legs tremble. She exerted all her strength to help him up the stairs, panting with each step.

His entire weight was on her delicate shoulders.

His alcoholic breath and unique body scent filled the air around her.
