Allison turned on her heel and walked away.

In the hospital room, Penelope's eyes welled up with tears as she watched Lucian awaken, whispering, "Lucian."

Due to the snake venom, Lucian's vision was blurry, and his nerves were under attack. He had been unconscious all night, and his thoughts were still fuzzy.

He vaguely saw a woman in front of him. He thought he was still in the forest, still in that cave.

"Allison."

Penelope was taken aback when she heard this name, and then she gritted her teeth.

Sure enough, something must have happened between them in the forest. Otherwise, why would Lucian call out Allison's name?
