The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 256

Allison slipped into her new outfit and stepped into the set box.

She was dressed in Penelope's long white gown, made up, and stuffed with props to mimic a pregnant belly. Although it was just a white gown, her skin was so delicate that it shone brighter than the dress.

Gavin explained the script to her.

The script was about a pregnant woman named Deila, played by Penelope, who was accused of plagiarism and fired by her company. She came here to appeal to Faith, who was played by Leila and the CEO of the company, hoping that she could get her job back.

Although they were sisters, their circumstances were worlds apart.

Gavin meticulously explained the script to Allison.

Allison nodded her understanding. She didn't know much about acting in TV series, and this was her first performance, but all she had to do was stand in for Penelope in a few shots.

Although her face wasn't visible in the shots, she spent her time waiting for Leila to prepare.

About fifteen minutes later, Leila walked over.

Although Allison wasn't a star chaser, she did watch some TV series. Leila was now a second-tier star in the entertainment circle, usually taking on some low-budget TV dramas. She shot to fame earlier this year because of a low-budget period drama, and now she was in Melody of Delight, a modern drama.

She played the female lead, Faith, the CEO of a fashion company. The male lead was played by popular idol Aaron, and this was the highest-budget production Leila had been involved in.

Allison took a couple of steps back at this point, pretending to be pushed by Faith. She protected her belly, and the camera switched to her hands on her belly, "Ah, how could you push me?"

Leila responded, "You fell on your own, now you want to blame me? Deila, there are cameras here!"

A few lines of dialogue and a few shots were done.

After Allison finished her work, Gavin nodded in approval, "Good job." These few shots were eventually saved. If all were cut, the audience would feel it was too abrupt.

"Allison, come and take a few single shots. Penelope has two scenes to shoot tomorrow, I'm afraid she'll be angry. You go ahead and fill in; the completed shots can be edited in."
