The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 266

Just then, a van pulled up in front of the house.

Christopher walked in, just in time to see Margo tumble down the stairs. He heard his daughter Penelope wailing upstairs, "Dad, dad, you gotta back me up. Allison's been hurting me."

Ever since that incident at the hospital, Allison and the Flanagan family had a total fallout. She and Christopher hadn't seen each other after. The kind image Christopher once had in her heart no longer existed, but Christopher always felt guilty towards Allison.

Every time he thought of Joshua, he also felt uneasy.

Christopher looked at his daughter with her messy hair and frowned, "Penelope, look at you, what a mess. Your baby isn't hurt, is it?"

Penelope gritted her teeth, looking at the strands of hair ripped out on the ground, all hers. She suddenly screamed, "Dad, it's all Allison. She barged into our home, and stole my things. Look at how she bullies me."

Christopher also felt sorry for his daughter, "She's always been part of the Flanagan family, lived with us for years. It's not exactly breaking in. But what did she steal from you?"

Penelope clutched the necklace around her neck, "This necklace is from Lucian, but Allison stole it. I managed to get it back, and now she's trying to snatch it again!"

Allison looked at Penelope, a mocking smile on her lips, "Penelope, you really have no shame."

Christopher asked, "What necklace?"

Penelope hid behind Christopher, afraid that Allison would snatch it, cautiously showed Christopher. The man's pupils contracted, full of surprise.

"This was left to me by my mother." Allison looked at Christopher with pursed lips, "My fingerprints are on it, a check will prove it."

Christopher took a step forward, "Grace left this to you."

Penelope noticed her father's changing expression, worried he would get angry because of Allison, and quickly went back to her room to call Leah.

She dramatically told Leah, "Mom, the necklace I got from Lucian, Allison wants to steal it. She insists it was left to her by Grace. Dad changed his face as soon as he heard Grace's name. Mom, come home soon. This necklace is very important to me!"

On the other end of the phone, Leah immediately dropped her cards and said goodbye to the ladies. She rushed home, especially after hearing the name Grace.
