"I'm Allison." Allison noticed the surprise in Patty's eyes, but she highly praised Patty's composure.
Completely different from Charlie, Patty didn't let her surprise show too much. She came off as experienced and cool-headed.
"Ms. Zimmer, this is the contract Epic Entertainment has prepared for you. You can take a look and see if there are any issues. Any doubts you have, we can clear up. Epic Entertainment is totally sincere about this."
When Allison took the contract, she didn't expect Lucian to move this fast. Right as she was reviewing the contract, her phone started to ring.
Allison's phone was on the conference table and was now buzzing. "Lucian" was displayed on the screen, and Patty also saw this.
Allison answered the call, "Hello?"
"Are you at Epic Entertainment yet? I've asked a staff member to contact you."
"I'm here, currently looking over the contract, getting ready to sign."
"I'll prepare all the resources you want."
"But I can't understand the contract, what if you're tricking me?" Allison glanced at the 10-plus pages of the contract.
A man's laughter came over from the other end of the phone. "So, what do you want?"
Allison bit her lip slightly, her eyes shining, her voice a bit sweet. "How about you take me to a movie tonight, and we can discuss it while watching."
She had never spoken to Lucian in this tone before. Even through the phone, Lucian was taken aback, and his throat bobbed. "Alright."
On the other side, Patty tried to hide it, but she couldn't cover up the shock in her eyes.
This was Lucian. Lucian was actually interacting with this woman!
Allison signed her name on the contract. Her handwriting was neat and beautiful. After signing, she checked it again and then handed the contract to Patty.
After checking the contract, Patty stood up and extended her hand to Allison. "Allison, from now on, I'm your agent, you can call me Patty."
"Patty," Allison said, "you're not just my agent, you're also my partner. I hope you're a loyal partner, that's how I see you, and I hope you see me the same way."
"Of course," Patty replied, "Allison, you can rest assured. I've been in this industry for over ten years. Since I graduated at 24, I started as an assistant and gradually made it to where I am now. I've always been absolutely loyal to my partners."
"Since you have said so, I can be direct. I don't like Penelope, there's no way for us to get along. It'll always be me ahead, and her following in the back." Allison's gaze became cold and determined.
Patty said, "I understand, Allison. Don't worry, my relationship with Charlie is the same."
"Then, I hope we have a pleasant cooperation for the next five years."
