The Billionaire's Maid Bride novel Chapter 646

"Alright, I got it, I'm sorry, Allison," Paige said hastily, sensing that her boss was less than thrilled with her recent slip-up.

Allison glanced at Paige, noticing the redness still lingering in her eyes. With a softer tone, she said, "You just got to Silvertown yesterday and you've already spent a whole night on set with me. Take a day off, go have some fun, explore Silvertown. Check out the sights, grab a bite of something delicious, and bring some back for us to try."

Paige's face lit up with gratitude. "Thanks, Allison, you're the best."

Allison smiled briefly, then returned her gaze to the script in her hands. "Could you ask Emma to come here?"

"Sure thing." Paige left the room to find Emma. "Hey Emma, Allison wants to see you."

Emma nodded, she had matters to discuss with Allison anyway.

Paige retreated to her own room. As Allison's assistant, she didn't have the same luxurious suite complete with a kitchen and balcony, but her accommodations were still pretty swanky by hotel standards.

She immediately pulled out her phone to update her friend Patty on the latest with Allison. However, when Patty started prying into Allison's personal matters, Paige chose to keep mum. "Allison was all about the script this morning, I haven't noticed anything about her dealings with Mr. Lindberg."

Patty instructed Paige to keep a close eye on Allison, especially any interactions with Lucian Lindberg. But Paige had made up her mind to keep some secrets.

Although Paige was originally sent by Patty to keep tabs on Allison, she had grown to respect the kindness and warmth Allison had shown her over time. Allison had even given her a day off to relax, which wasn't something Paige took lightly.

However, with Allison currently tied up in Wade's movie for a two-month shoot—subject to extensions—it wasn't clear how the timings would work out.

"This movie starts in two and a half months, a perfect transition for you," Emma explained. "Epic Entertainment's invested in it, and you're the lead. It's a great opportunity, but we should lock it down now to avoid any complications. I hear Penelope's camp is also in the running."

Allison's eyes skimmed the script; it was right up her alley.

She had been in talks with Jennifer about the role a while ago, a verbal agreement hanging in the balance.

But as the project stalled, and she began working on another, Allison was all too aware of how quickly things could change in their industry.
