Thalassa turned around, her eyes landing on a face that radiated a gentle and scholarly charm. The man, Callum Gordon, wore frameless glasses and his lips curved into a warm, spring breeze-like smile.
Seeing him, Thalassa's eyes widened in surprise. "Mr. Gordon!"
It had been three years since she last saw Callum!
Three years ago, Callum had been in a sorry state, with a broken wrist and leg courtesy of a scuffle with Lysander, bandages wrapping his injuries. Now, however, he was the picture of health, as charming and refined as the day they first met.
Upon hearing her voice, Callum turned and was momentarily surprised. "Thalassa!"
After a brief pause, realization dawned on him, and he flashed a warm smile. "So, you're the designer for this project. What a coincidence."
"I was actually about to explain that I'm not the lead designer," Thalassa started.
Reginald interjected, "Since you two are acquainted, I'll spare the introductions. Callum and I are business partners; I handle the domestic production of jewelry while he takes care of international sales. We're two halves of a whole; indispensable to one another. So, when it comes to jewelry designs, both of us need to be on board."
To ensure Thalassa understood, Reginald elaborated, "I evaluate the designs from a production standpoint, focusing on factors such as manufacturing feasibility and craftsmanship. Callum, on the other hand, gauges market trends and consumer preferences overseas."
Producing and selling jewelry, much like fashion, relies on achieving a balance between manufacturability, craftsmanship, and market appeal. Only when a design meets these criteria can it succeed in the market and become profitable.
Thalassa nodded in understanding. "Of course, our company has taken all of that into account. Whether it's target demographics or craftsmanship, I've prepared comprehensive documentation. Here, please take a look."
After sitting down next to Reginald, Thalassa handed over the prepared documents for their review.
The documents detailed the design philosophy, materials, and target demographics.
