Alaric felt a wave of uncertainty wash over him.

"Fine! Georgia, if he's not my son, I never want to see you again!" Alaric agreed to go through with the DNA test. He wanted to settle this matter once and for all, both for himself and to let Georgia move on for good.

With that, Alaric was the first to leave the coffee shop, and Georgia hurriedly followed, clutching the child in her arms. Alaric drove while Georgia sat in the back with the child. The ride to the hospital was silent.

At the hospital, Alaric had his blood drawn first. When it was the child's turn, the little one burst into tears, unable to stop crying. Georgia could barely hold him.
