So Callum guessed that Thalassa hadn't shared what she heard at the police station with Lysander yet. Thalassa averted her gaze, looking away without saying a word. Though she remained silent, Callum understood the answer. Thalassa hadn't told Lysander, proving that deep down, she wasn't as cold-hearted as she appeared. "Thalassa, do you know why I was able to show up at the semifinals right away, with the surveillance footage repaired?" Callum asked again.

"To make amends?" Thalassa countered.

Callum paused before responding, "During the jewelry design contest semifinals, someone swapped your piece with a plastic fake. It was all Susan's doing. Atticus fixed the footage, and he asked me to bring it to the competition to prove your innocence."
