"Alright then, I'm a quick driver," Hertha informed with a brief nod before starting the car and accelerating away.

"Whoa!" Alaric was jolted by the sudden movement, hastily grabbing the seatbelt as he let out a sound of surprise.

"Hertha, it's a real shame you're not a race car driver," Alaric teased her.

"What's it to you whether I become a race car driver or not!" Hertha was full of complaints and didn't want to engage in a proper conversation with him.

"I was just joking, why so serious?" Alaric chuckled mischievously.

"Alaric, spit it out, what do you really want?" Hertha questioned him while she drove.

She was done beating around the bush with him.

He was clearly there with a purpose today, yet all he did was joke around without getting to the point.
