The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen) novel Chapter 807

Chapter 807

“I’ve let go. It’s your turn now!” The middle-aged woman’s voice wavered with emotion.

Thalassa dropped the shard of porcelain she had been holding and turned to Evelyn. “Mom, you should let it go too.”

She never intended to harm the woman. She just wanted her to let go. Now that she had, Thalassa cast aside the threatening shard.

Evelyn, realizing that Thalassa had returned and the woman had loosened her grip, also let go.

Panting heavily, her hair a mess, she looked disheveled.

“So, you’re Bruce’s daughter with this tramp?” The middle-aged woman was tall and thin with curly hair. Her fierce appearance painted a clear picture of a

shrew.

She glared at Thalassa, her teeth gritted in anger.

She was Bruce’s wife, Lucy.

“She’s not… she’s not Bruce’s daughter!” Evelyn retorted, spittle flying from her mouth in her agitation.

Thalassa’s heart pounded as she quickly shielded her mother from Lucy. She looked directly at Lucy, admitting, “You’re right. I am Bruce’s daughter with my mom! Bruce deceived my mom by hiding the fact that he was married. When she found out, she cut him off! Instead of teaching your cheating husband a lesson, why are you here bothering my mom?”

Lucy’s breathing became labored as she listened to Thalassa’s confession, her eyes filled with rage.

“Even if she didn’t know back then, what about now? She’s still seducing my husband! She’s just a natural-born tramp!” Lucy pointed at Evelyn, her words dripping with scorn.

Evelyn’s eyes welled up with tears, and her hand, clutching Thalassa’s clothes, shook with the force of her anger.

Being insulted like this, how could she not be angry? However, she had no words to fire back, being the one deceived, Who was to blame for her poor judgment, repeatedly being fooled by that scoundrel, Bruce?

Who was to blame for her inability to control her own heart, falling for such a man?

She had even hoped that she could live a life together with him!

Thalassa saw Evelyn’s struggle, her helplessness, her pain, and her anger.
