Thalassa glanced at Sophia intrigued glance upon hearing her statement. 

She had witnessed Sophia’s talent for identifying valuable artifacts first hand, so she knew Sophia wouldn’t be wrong. 

Meaning, the bracelet Amelia held was indeed real, even though Amelia claimed it was a fake. 

Amelia had owned that bracelet for so many years, so of course she should know if it was a genuine artifact or not. 

There was only one possibility left – she was deliberately calling it a fake. 

What good would that do her? 

“You’re just a four-year-old, what would you know? If I say this bracelet is fake, then it’s fake! I’ve been wearing it for over twenty years. Would I mistake it?” Amelia’s eyes flickered with panic at Sophia’s words, but she quickly regained her composure and replied in a defiant tone. 

She had to insist the bracelet was a fake – that was the only way she could cancel the surveillance order from Lysander and Zephyr.

Saying this, Charlotte dropped her gaze, her mouth twitching in a gesture of regret and embarrassment. 

“You silly girl, when I received the bracelet, I never showed off to anyone!” Amelia chastised Charlotte sternly.

By claiming the bracelet was fake, she hoped to downplay the issue and sweep it under the rug.
