Thalassa pulled back quickly as Lysander's eyebrows knitted together in a frown. She wiped her lips hastily, her eyes wide with panic as they met his icy gaze. It felt as if his eyes could freeze her in place, so devoid of warmth despite the fervent kiss they had just shared.

Her heart fluttered with fear as she tried to escape his iron grip around her waist, but it was as futile as trying to break free from chains. His thumb brushed a speck of blood from his lip, piercing her with a cold stare. "All lovey-dovey at home, and now you're shy in public?"

"Lysander, please stop." Thalassa pleaded in distress.

"Mr. Sinclair, a kiss is just a kiss. As long as you and Ms. Everhart haven't gone public, she's fair game for any man interested," Callum chimed in with a smirk.

Lysander's icy gaze turned to Callum, a slight, chilling smile playing at his lips. "Is that so? The last man who took an interest needed his 'eyes cleaned' after peering too closely."

Thalassa shuddered at the memory, fearing for Callum's safety. She grabbed Lysander's hand. "The kids must be worried sick at home. Let's get back to them."

She tugged him towards the car, signaling the urgency to leave.
