Anastasia was completely lost; she had no idea what Selena was rambling about. She didn’t even know who the hell the CEO of Elysian Technologies was. How on earth could she be mistaken as the CEO’s secret lover? It was utterly ridiculous. 

“What you do in secret, will come out in public,” Selena sneered. “You’re a nobody, yet you’re aiming for the stars? Poor Herman, I wonder how he’d react if he knew he’d been cuckolded.” 

*Selena, what the hell are you blabbering about?” Anastasia was furious. “Watch your mouth. Herman and I are very much in love. Don’t you dare try to stir the pot with your low tactics.” 

“Me? Low?” Selena scoffed. “Anastasia, I really underestimated you. Your acting and your face are truly admirable, juggling two men with ease. Aren’t your sneaky affairs despicable?” 

Anastasia took a deep breath and said sternly, “Selena, please leave. I’ll say it again, I have nothing to do with the CEO of Elysian Technologies. Stop accusing me baselessly.”
