Celeste and Betty walked toward their car.

Just as they were about to get in, Wynn stepped out of a nearby vehicle.

“Oh, so she hasn’t left,” Betty said and glanced at her before withdrawing her gaze.

Celeste had thought Betty didn’t notice Wynn earlier, but apparently, she had.

Seeing Tucker’s reaction, she realized that this was Trevor’s brother.

Before he could finish, he noticed Trevor raising an eyebrow at him.

Although Trevor didn’t actually interrupt, Tucker still stopped himself and suddenly realized something.

Trevor didn’t answer but asked instead, “Is that a problem?

Tucker wasn’t actually surprised. His elder brother was well–connected–knowing Wynn wasn’t all that unexpected.

Trevor asked, “Why are you back down so quickly?”

Tucker smacked his forehead. “Oh, right! I forgot something. It almost slipped my mind.”

As he spoke, he glanced at the time. “What the…? Is it this late already?”

He ran toward another car while calling out, “Trev, CC, I gotta go-
