The Breaking Point of Love novel Chapter 370

Chapter 370

Kieran never managed to find a chance to go rafting with Celeste. However, during dinner, he once again ran into Celeste and her family.

Ivan and Adeline warmly invited him and his friend to eat with them.

After learning that he was from the Gibson family, Ivan curiously asked, What made you suddenly decide to come back and develop your career here?

Thinking of the original reason he returned, Kieran paused slightly in his movements before replying, I’ve always been very interested in YodaVision’s programming nguage Cuap and their latest project, InfiniteCM, so I came back to join the company and learn.

Ivan, Adeline, and Betty were all aware of Celeste’s involvement with YodaVision.

Upon hearing this, they all smiled subtly and glanced at Celeste. Meanwhile, Celeste just quietly lowered her head and continued eating.

Kieran, however, didn’t think too much of it.

Celeste was indeed very capable professionally.

But from what he had gathered, she had only joined YodaVision last year. But Cuap had already existed for many years. Moreover, the outside world always credited Cuap’s development to Zachary.

To the industry, it made perfect sense that such a powerful language was developed by Zachary.

As for YodaVision’s latest project, InfiniteCM, Kieran genuinely believed it was being led by Matthias.

Since joining YodaVision, Kieran had interacted with Matthias in a few meetings. From those limited interactions, he could tell Matthias was indeed highly skilled in his field.

But since they hadn’t interacted deeply, Kieran couldn’t really compare who was more capableMatthias or Celeste. That said, from what he observed at work, it seemed Celeste was always assisting Matthias.

So, he also assumed that Matthias was professionally stronger than Celeste.

The Rodriguez family was gracious, warm, and engaging in conversation. After dinner, Kieran was left with a good impression of everyone.

But once the meal ended, Celeste and her family left the scenic area and headed home. Seeing them go, Kieran and his friends didn’t linger much longer either.

The next day, Celeste received another call from Jordyn. She was getting ready to return to the country.

She said, Mom, Dad won’t be back for another two to three days. Do you have time? I want to come see you and Granny when I get back.

Celeste remembered how Betty had mentioned Jordyn a few times over the past few days. So, after two seconds of silence, she said, Come on over.

On the last day of the holiday, after returning to the country Jordyn went straight to the Rodriguez residence. She’d even brought gifts for Celeste and the rest of the family.

Betty, Ivan, and his family were delighted with the presents

Celeste noticed that in Jordyn’s suitcase, aside from the gifts for them, there were two that hadn’t been given out.

It was obvious they were prepared for Trevor and Wynn.

Celeste calmly looked away.

After distributing the gifts, the excitement from traveling wore off, and fatigue set in. Still reluctant to part from Celeste, Jordyn snuggled into her arms before falling asleep, hugging her tightly around the waist.

She hadn’t even showered.

But seeing how tired she looked and how soundly she was sleeping, Celeste didn’t wake her. After she fell asleep, Celeste gently moved her to the bed.

The next morning, before work, Celeste dropped her off at school. She didn’t ask when Trevor would be back.

Three days after the May Day holiday ended, Trevor returned to the country. But he didn’t contact Celeste. Instead, he reached out to Jordyn.

After speaking with him on the phone, Jordyn said to Celeste, Mom, Dad said he’s coming to pick me up soon.

Celeste replied, Okay.

Jordyn was still a little reluctant to leave the Rodriguez family, but Trevor had said he missed her. So, even though she didn’t want to leave Celeste, she had to go back with him.

Half an hour later, Trevor arrived.

Celeste walked to his car, holding Jordyn’s hand.
