The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 101

Chapter 101

His black eyes fixedly stared at her. At this moment, she was drunk with tenderness and charm. How many people had seen

her like this?

“Has Zachary… also seen her like this?” Jonathan thought.

Suddenly, a touch of jealousy rose in his heart. He was envious that Zachary had dated her before. When she and Zachary were together, did she also call out his name with such a gentle voice? How close were they before?

“Do you really think I look good?” he murmured. He wanted to keep her bound to his side like this so that no one could see how charming she was.

“Yes, Jon, you are the most handsome man I have ever seen. She chuckled softly, playfully tapping her finger on the tip of his nose as if he were an interesting toy.

It seemed that she was the only one who could treat him as a toy.

Suddenly, her expression changed. Her sinile disappeared and was replaced by a sense of sadness. “Jon, I will be nice to you. Don’t leave me, okay?”

Her eyes were covered with mist as if he was extremely important to her. If he left, it would be unbearable for her.

“I’ve never wanted to leave. Did you forget that it’s you who didn’t want to stay with me?” he said. He knew she was drunk now, and tomorrow, she might not remember what she had said. But he still couldn’t help asking her seriously.

She tilted her head and seemed to be seriously thinking about the question. “Why… Why wouldn’t I want to be with you, Jon? I really want to stay with you… Really… Perhaps only when she was so drunk could he hear such words.

Her face came close to his lips, and she pecked him a kiss.

His body suddenly stiffened, and his eyes were darkening. “Do you know what you are doing?”

Of course, she didn’t know. She was still smiling happily as if she had just kissed something sweet.

Even though the women who wanted to get close to him made more intimate moves, he didn’t feel anything. Only she was an exception.

At this moment, she seemed as innocent as a child. The weight of the three years of imprisonment seemed to have been lifted, and it was as if she had returned to her sunny and positive self.

He suddenly closed his eyes and unconsciously tightened his fists.

“Do you really think I won’t touch you no matter what you do to me?” His voice was hoarse. He couldn’t tell whether he was talking to her or himself.

She blinked her eyes as if she didn’t understand what he meant. Then, she made a thoughtful look. After a while, she suddenly smiled and kissed him directly.

He stiffened and accepted her kiss passively. Such sweetness made him indulge in it unconsciously.

When her lips retreated from his, he felt a sudden loss. He wanted more.

When she looked at him, when she smiled and called him “Jon,” when her hands wrapped around his neck and the sweet breath rushed into his nose, he felt like he was getting drunk too.

“It seems that I shouldn’t have said anything about not touching a drunk woman,” he murmured. It was the first time he had broken his promise because of her.

He bent down and kissed her lips, which made him so attached.

He didn’t know how long he had been kissing her, but when the kiss ended, he noticed that she had fallen asleep once again.

“It’s really…”A rare sense of powerlessness filled his body. She was the only one who could make him so embarrassed.

Jonathan fixed his dark eyes on the woman under him. After a while, he finally sighed and covered Rosalie with the quilt again. Then, he got out of bed and sat by the bedside.

“You owe me one, okay?” he whispered. His voice floated in the air.

The small rental home no longer seemed cold and empty. Even the air carried a hint of warmth.

When Rosalie woke up and saw Jonathan sitting by her bedside, she couldn’t help but be stunned.

“Why are you here?” she asked.
