The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 127

Chapter 127

Rosalie thought. I should be afraid of Jonathan, shouldn’t I? He can easily control my pain and embarrassment. His words can easily hit me into hell

But why do I feel I’m gonna lose control when he approaches me so close and whispers in my ear?

I can’t handle this man at all. Even if he calls me Rosie so intimately, I’m still at the mercy of him, like a pawn that he can play with when he has time!

At this moment, Jonathan lowered his head, picked up the photo frame on the bedside table, and looked at the person in the photo, who seemed to be looking ahead with a faint smile.

There was a kind of tranquility and elegance that made people feel very comfortable on her delicate face.

It seemed that if she looked at Jonathan with such a stile, he would get something he had never even thought of before.

“Rosie. Jonathan whispered gently. His fingers caressed the lips of the person in the photo and then kissed them as if he could no longer suppress himself.

If it weren’t for Rosalie’s stiff body and the flash of fear on her face, Jonathan would have kissed her.

However, he chose to suppress his desire.

Jonathan thought, ‘Why? Was I afraid of scaring Rosalie?

I’ve scared her once in the rental home today, so I can’t bear to scare her one more time, huh?”

Jonathan gently closed his eyes and snuled

Rosalie thought that she might not be able to fall asleep on the first night of her residence in the Youngblood residence, but in fact, she slept soundly. If it weren’t for the alarm ringing in her phone, she would have been sleeping all the time. Maybe it was because too many things had happened in one day, which made Rosalie exhausted and unable to think about other things at all.

At this moment. Rosalie looked at the time on her phone. It was five o’clock in the morning.

And she needed to arrive at the Environment and Sanitation Administration before six o’clock.

Rosalie quickly got changed and went into the bathroom to wash up

But when Rosalie came out, she saw Jonathan sitting at the dresser in her room and playing with her phone.

“Are you going to work. Rosie?” Jonathan looked up at her..

“Yeah,” Rosalie replied, took back her phone from Jonathan’s hand, put it into her daily small bag, picked up the bag, and was

about to leave.

“Let’s have breakfast together, Jonathan grabbed her wrist and said.

“Tll be late for work,” said Rosalie hurriedly.

Jonathan smiled and said, “You won’t be since I say so.”

Rosalie didn’t know what to say.

When they arrived at the dining room downstairs, Rosalie was surprised to find that breakfast had been placed on the table.

It was only around 5 am now. Most families wouldn’t make breakfast so early.

“In the future, the breakfast here will be served according to your work time, Rosie. They’ll definitely let you be able to have breakfast before going to work,’ said Jonathan. He led Rosalie to the table and gently pressed her shoulder to let her sit

down

Rosalie sat down obediently. Looking at the hearty breakfast on the table, she had a cup of milk, a bowl of porridge, and some pastries.

This breakfast was much more hearty than the simple and cheap bread she usually bought in the morning

It also made Rosalie feel more clearly and truly that she really lived in the Youngblood residence now, not at that small

rental home.

“Tll ask the chauffeur to send you to the Environment and Sanitation Administration later,” said Jonathan.

“No need. I’ll just take the bus, Rosalie hurriedly said.

“This place is not close to the Environment and Sanitation Administration. If you take the bus, you have to transfer two times. Aren’t you afraid of being late?” Jonathan looked at Rosalie confidently.

Rosalie became speechless at once.

After breakfast, Jarvis, the chauffeur of the Youngblood family, drove Rosalie to the Environment and Sanitation. Administration in a silver Maybach.

Sitting in the car, Rosalie felt a little funny. She was doing the cheapest job but taking such an expensive car to work. It was quite ironic.

Rosalie asked Jarvis to stop 1,640 feet away from the Environment and Sanitation Administration, and then got out of the car and walked to her destination. If she let Jarvis drive her to the gate and some colleagues saw that, there would be gossip again.
