The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 1325

Chapter 1325

Lorin just took Hanna as a tool back then to complete his bet with the girl he had a crush on.

But when Lorin saw Hanna being ridiculed by everyone in school and even humiliated in public, he felt sorry for her.

Hanna used to be a bright girl. But after that incident, the bright smile in her eyes was gone and replaced by a kind of fear.

Lorin knew that Hanna was being bullied by others and became a joke

on campus.

And Lorin knew well that it was all because of him. His little trick caused Hanna’s misery. Yet even though he saw Hanna become a miserable existence, he still didn’t explain anything in the school.

As if to flee from his mistake, Lorin hurried abroad as an exchange student half a year later.

But even when Lorin was abroad, the scene of Hanna being bullied by others would still appear in his mind from time to time, so unconsciously he began to worry about Hanna.

Lorin wanted to know how Hanna was doing now and whether she was fine or not.

Lorin had never been serious about Hanna and just wanted to use Hanna back then, but he had never thought that one day he would desperately miss Hanna and couldn’t even get Hanna out of his mind.

What was worse, Lorin would inevitably think of Hanna when other women deliberately approached him and made some intimate moves.

Lorin couldn’t get Hanna’s figure out of his mind at all!

“Lorin, have you ever thought that maybe you had fallen in love with Hanna unconsciously?” Marvin Charles said to Lorin. He was Lorin’s college classmate and Lorin’s current friend.

“Fall in love with her?” Lorin felt ridiculous when he heard this.

How could Lorin fall in love with Hanna who had never been the type he liked? Moreover, he had a girl he liked when he was a college student.

“How is that possible? Stop joking!” Lorin said.

“If not, why do you still remember her after so many years? Is it really because of guilt? If so, there would be many people you should feel sorry for. Since childhood, there have been many girls who were rejected by you. Why didn’t you feel guilty?”

Therefore, Lorin found out where Hanna was now and secretly

investigated Hanna’s current situation. Later, he asked Kolton Mcbride to take him to the blind dinner date.

Lorin just wanted to take that opportunity to get in touch with Hanna again, but he didn’t expect to see Hanna’s boyfriend there.

According to the information Lorin got, Hanna should be single!

Lorin didn’t understand why Hanna suddenly had a boyfriend. Moreover, Hanna said that she loved her boyfriend very much.

Lorin was the one Hanna had loved back then!

Thinking of this, Lorin felt his heart aching.

When Lorin saw Hanna again, he thought Hanna would hate him and avoid him, or rush up and beat him hard.

But Lorin didn’t expect that Hanna would not hate him.

Lorin knew that Hanna didn’t hate him because Hanna had no feelings for him at all! Hanna’s love for him had disappeared, but his love for Hanna…

If that was not the joke of fate, then it was the punishment for what Lorin had done to Hanna back then.

On the weekend, Calvin came to Hanna’s studio.

The studio was not large. It covered an area of only about 1,000 square feet, but the decoration was very refreshing.

On the wall, there were some posters of comics. From the painting style, Calvin could tell they were painted by Hanna.

Many comic books were placed on the shelves against the wall, including those created by Hanna. But it seemed that most of them were short and medium-length stories. The one Calvin read that day was just a short comic book.

“You’ve been making comics since high school, right?” At least in the information Calvin got about Hanna, it’s written like this.

“Not exactly. I liked to draw comics when I was very young, but in my third year of senior high school, I officially submitted a manuscript. Unexpectedly, the first work was accepted, and then I kept on making comics until now.”

“On your third year of senior high school? You should be about to take the college entrance examination at that time. You must have been busy then,” Calvin said.

\”Yes, so at that time, I tried to spend my spare time making comics every day, and sometimes I stayed up until the early morning. But I was really happy when my comics were published in magazines. That kind of happiness was unparalleled,” Hanna said.

“Don’t you think it’s very hard? Moreover, the comics industry was not popular in our country and couldn’t make much money,” Calvin said.

“Although it won’t bring me wealth, at least I can make a living relying on it. And over the years, my life is gradually getting better. Initially, I painted alone, but later I opened a studio and had two assistants. Although the studio is still small and I am not very famous now, I think it is good to do what I like and support myself with it. A contented mind is the greatest blessing a man can enjoy in this world!”

When Hanna said this, she smiled, and there seemed to be light in her

eyes.

“A contented mind is the greatest blessing a man can enjoy in this world!?” Calvin muttered. His eyes flashed slightly. How many people could really do as this simple sentence stated?

Most people’s desires swelled and could never be fulfilled.

“Are you going to draw me today? Do you want to start now?” Calvin changed the topic.

“Yes, let’s start now.” Hanna then asked Calvin to sit on a sofa. She put the easel in place and took out the pencil.

“You can sit in a casual posture. It will take about an hour. Is it okay for you?” Hanna estimated the time.
