Chapter 1383
No one could imagine that the most powerful man in the entertainment industry would love a woman so much that he could do everything for
her.
“Are you willing to be my girlfriend? I can do whatever you want as long as you agree,” Calvin said.
Such a simple sentence meant a lot.
Other women would be overjoyed if they heard Calvin make such a commitment. But Hanna’s face was devoid of delight.
She tightened the grip on the fork in her hand and took a deep breath. “Sorry, I can’t.”
Calvin suddenly felt a sense of disappointment after hearing it.
“If you have any special requests, please feel free to tell me. I can…”
“It’s not what you think,” Hanna interrupted. She raised her head and looked straight at Calvin. “I was willing to pose as your girlfriend because ( I pitied you. I thought you needed help. Shelly used to help me when I was in trouble. So I wanted to help you as well. Later I wanted to repay you because you used to help me. So
used to help me. So I was willing to pretend to be your
girlfriend until you don’t need it.”
After a pause, she continued, “But love is not an act. That requires two people to adore each other. Sorry, I can’t do it.”
“You can’t do it? Do you mean you can’t fall in love with me?” Calvin asked, gazing at Hanna with sad eyes. Hanna’s heart skipped a beat.
It was never difficult to fall in love with Calvin.
Calvin was so charming. Hanna believed that if he wanted to find a girlfriend, a lot of women would pursue him.
“Hanna, I don’t think it’s hard for you to fall in love with me. What’s you type of guy? I can change,” Calvin said.
Her type of guy?
Hanna laughed. He was her type of guy, cold and refined on the outside yet a one-woman man who could protect his beloved one.

She had already grown fond of him by the time they got along. But she kept telling herself that they were from different worlds and that they couldn’t be together.
His words tugged at her heartstrings, causing her heart to race.
“Even if I can fall in love with you, you can’t love me back, right? If that’s the case, what’s the point of being together?” she said, looking straight at him.
Calvin was slightly stunned. “Do you want me to fall in love with you?” he asked, his eyelids fluttering.

“Any woman hopes that the man she loves will return her feelings. I’m not an exception. I don’t want one-sided love. If I truly love someone, hope we can marry and spend the rest of our lives together!” Hanna said seriously. Calvin could tell how serious she was by the expression on her face and the gleam in her eyes.
“Do you want to get married with me?” He suddenly smiled. He had
already given up on marriage after losing Rosalie. He even believed that he would never love again or get married.
However, he didn’t despise Hanna when she talked about getting married.

“Okay, I also want a serious determination in his eyes. “You love me and make me fall in love with you. Maybe it’s good for everyone.
If he could fall in love with Hanna one day, Rosalie could rest assured. He wouldn’t be bound in that hopeless one-sided love, and his parents would be happy as well.
He also wondered if he could really fall in love with Hanna. He didn’t repulse her and even felt comfortable being with her.
Hanna stared at Calvin in shock. She had thought that Calvin would giv up after hearing her words, but she didn’t expect him to say so.
“W-What did you say? You want a serious relationship with me?” she asked, dumbfounded. Her voice seemed to be a little out of tune.
“Yes,” he replied with absolute certainty.
“Will you love me too?” she asked again.
“Yes, I will try my best to fall in love with you, Calvin said.

“Seriously?” Hanna doubted. After all, he loved Rosalie so much. Could he fall in love with another woman?
“I don’t know,” Calvin replied honestly. “I don’t know if I can fall in love with you. It will be a gamble, for you and me. No one can predict the
Anal result.”
