The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 1391

Chapter 1391

It seemed that Calvin was still immersed in the film and didn’t come out.

Hanna thought for a while and said, “It’s just a movie. Don’t be so sad. Moreover, the unicorn finally repaid the girl’s kindness. Although it was a pity for him, he was satisfied.”

Calvin murmured, “Is it just a movie?”

Hanna blinked. “Isn’t it?”

Calvin suddenly laughed, “Yes, it is. The unicorn was really so stupid that he always made mistakes after he took a wrong step. How could there be such a stupid character?”

His smile inexplicably made Hanna’s heart hurt. He was smiling, but she felt that he seemed to cry.

“Everyone in the world will make mistakes. No one is perfect,” said

Hanna. “I don’t think the unicorn was stupid. He was just too persistent in repaying the girl who once saved him, so he was used by bad guys.”

Calvin’s eyelashes trembled slightly. He thought, “Too persistent… Yes. So many people said I’m too persistent.”

Calvin was so persistent that he became paranoid. But after so many years, his paranoia had become his habit unconsciously.

Hanna said, “If that girl could have recognized the unicorn earlier, and if she could have told him earlier that she was the girl he was looking for, then maybe the unicorn wouldn’t miss her. I really hope the unicorn didn’t disappear. I hope he could have a happy ending.”

The ending of this film could only be said to be nice but with pity.

Calvin choked for a second. He looked at the woman in front of him blankly. “Do you think the unicorn could have a happy ending?”

“At least I can imagine it,” said Hanna. “Maybe the director will release its second season.”

As they walked out of the cinema, Hanna told Calvin a lot of jokes.

“I’ve told you so many jokes. Aren’t they funny?” said Hanna.

“Yeah, they’re funny,” Calvin answered

Hanna looked at him suspiciously. “Really? Then why didn’t you laugh?”

“Do you want to see me laugh?” asked he.

Hanna was speechless. She thought, “If not so, why did I tell so many jokes?” She thought that he was in a bad mood after watching the movie, so she hoped he would become happy after hearing some jokes.

Hanna nodded her head seriously.

Then, a smile slowly appeared on Calvin’s face. “Hanna, thank you.”

His gloomy mood seemed to gradually disappear because of Hanna’s words.

Hanna said that the unicorn was not stupid but was too persistent.

She also said that she hoped the unicorn could have a happy ending.

She also told a lot of jokes. Calvin knew that she tried hard to talk too much only in order to see him laugh.

At this moment, Calvin suddenly felt that it was really a good thing to have her as his girlfriend.

Hanna had seen Calvin’s smile, but such of his smiles either were with mockery or were very slight. With such smiles, his eyes even didn’t move.

But his smile just now was different from those. It seemed that he was happy with such a smile. Even if it was slight, it impressed Hanna so much.

Hanna thought of Calvin’s smile all night.

The next day in the studio, when Hanna was busy working with her assistants, someone suddenly knocked on the door. One of her assistants got up to open the door.

Then Hanna heard a familiar voice. “Where is Hanna?”

Hanna stood up and walked over. She found it was her aunt, Teresa Zimmerman.

As soon as Teresa saw Hanna, Teresa immediately stepped forward and said arrogantly, “So many days have passed since I called you last time. Why haven’t you taken action? What do you mean?”

“I remember I’ve already refused you,” said Hanna. She had refused

Teresa clearly.

“What? Think about your family! You’re a member of the Zimmerman family. Your cousin wants to buy a house in order to get married, so he wants to borrow some money from you. How could you refuse? Do you have any conscience? Have you forgotten how your parents died? Have you forgotten who raised you?” Teresa scolded Hanna.

Hanna thought it was ridiculous. The borrower behaved as if she were the lender.

Hanna turned around and said to her two assistants, “That’s it. You can leave now. I have something to deal with here.”

“Okay, Hanna. Bye. Call us if you have a need,” said her two assistants. They had worked in the studio for several years, so they knew Teresa.
