The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 305

Chapter 305

“Help me? I feel disgusted when I hear this,” Rosalie said.

The people around them were all professional lawyers, and they were not stupid. When they heard this, they all understood something. They immediately looked at Elodia in surprise. Surely, the previous image of Elodia must have collapsed in their eyes.

Elodia originally wanted to embarrass Rosalie today. A few days ago, she met Rosalie when she was doing a physical examination in the hospital. But at the time, she was so embarrassed.

However, it was she who was embarrassed in the office today.

Elodia picked up a cup of coffee in front of her and threw it directly at Rosalie.

Although Rosalie had been on guard and took a few steps back, the coffee did not splash on her face, but her clothes were

wet.

It was getting hotter. Rosalie was wearing a white shirt. The white shirt got wet with the coffee, and one could see Rosalie’s underwear.

The colleagues around them didn’t expect that Elodia would do this suddenly. Some people exclaimed immediately.

Rosalie subconsciously wanted to cover her chest. The next moment, someone put on a suit directly for her.

“Put it on!” A voice sounded in her ear.

Rosalie was stunned. She turned around and saw an indifferent but delicate face.

It was Calvin!

But at this moment, Calvin frowned slightly. There was a trace of anger in his eyes, which surprised Rosalie. After all, Calvin was always indifferent to everything around him.

–

Rosalie didn’t expect that Calvin was here. She was so embarrassed at this moment, and this suit helped her.

The owner of the firm and two lawyers stood beside Calvin. One of them even taught Rosalie when she worked in the law firm.

At this moment, the man looked at Rosalie with a complicated expression.

“What’s going on?” the boss asked harshly. Obviously, it was not a good thing that happened in front of big clients.

Elodia was still angry just now, but now she was in a panic. “No… Nothing. I accidentally splashed the coffe on Rosalie’s clothes.”

Calvin snorted coldly, “Accidentally or intentionally?”

He stared at Elodia coldly.

Elodia blushed. “I…I…” She wanted to insist that she was careless, but Calvin stared at her coldly. And she dared not to say this.

The boss looked around and asked the others, “Tell me what’s going on!”

One of the staff who worked in the same office with Rosalie before roughly told him the whole matter.

When that staff mentioned that Elodia asked Rosalie to tell them about that case, Calvin flashed his eyes slightly. Then he glanced at Rosalie’s pale cheek.

Rosalie just stood there, wearing his suit in a mess. Her whole face turned pale, which made her eyes darker.

And she clenched her hands tightly. She was bearing something.

Calvin checked Rosalie’s information. He naturally knew that Rosalie was sentenced to prison because of a car accident, which led to the death of Melanie.

But he didn’t know much about the details of that case. At this moment, he heard the dictation of others. He thought, ‘Is she refusing to admit her mistakes in court? Is she insisting that she has been wronged?

Was she wronged? Did Melanie’s death have nothing to do with her?’

That staff was telling the matter directly and didn’t hide anything. But a man who was the owner of the law firm knew everything well. He immediately looked at Elodia coldly and then turned to look at Rosalie.

“Rosalie, I’m sorry to let you encounter this. If there is any loss for you, the firm will compensate you. You can list it then, the boss said.

Rosalie said indifferently, “No need. I need to work!”.

She took a deep breath, looked at Calvin, and returned the suit to him. “Thank you.’ Her shirt was still wet, and one could

still see her underwear.

But Rosalie just wanted to leave here.

“You can wear it. You don’t have to return it to me,” Calvin said.

The owner of the firm looked at Calvin in surprise. He and Calvin had known each other for several years, so he knew that Calvin was indifferent to everything. He had never helped others. Even if someone killed others in front of him, he was indifferent.
