The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 354

Chapter 354

“Oh… Sorry!” Rosalie hurriedly apologized, but her headache reduced when she felt the pain in her wrist.

“Why did you touch me? And why did you call that name? Rosalie, do you really have no feelings for me?” Calvin stared at Rosalie and asked.

Rosalie’s face turned red from pale and she explained, “You… You misunderstood me!”

“Misunderstanding?” Calvin suddenly chuckled and said, “Then tell me what kind of misunderstanding it was that you called my nickname again and again and even touched my cheek with your hand.”

Rosalie bit her lower lip. For a moment, she didn’t know how to answer him, so she could only say, “It’s not what you think. I won’t do that again. I had a headache just now. I might have mistaken you for someone else.”

“Mistake?” Calvin said in a low voice. “Is “Cal’ also a mistake?”

“You are not the only one in this world who can be called ‘Cal’, are you?” Rosalie retorted.

At this moment, Lillian had already come over. So Rosalie said to Calvin, “My friend is here. Let go of my hand and I’m getting off.”

Hearing this, Calvin stared at Rosalie with his dark eyes. The atmosphere in the car was extremely tense.

Suddenly, Calvin released his hand. Rosalie quickly opened the door and got out of the car. Then she said to Lillian who was searching for her not far away, “Lillian, I’m here!”

Hearing this, Lillian trotted towards Rosalie. But when she was about to get close to Rosalie, a luxury car behind Rosalie drove away, and Lillian suddenly found that the driver seemed to be Calvin.

“Rosalie, was Calvin in the car behind you?” Lillian asked in surprise.

“Yeah.” Rosalie didn’t hide it.

“But why would you be with Calvin? And why did you suddenly leave the bookstore?” Lillian was confused about what had happened in the bookstore.

Rosalie told Lillian about what had happened before. Hearing this, Lillian immediately cursed the man who was chasing after Rosalie for being shameless and said, “Why didn’t you come to me? If I were there, I would have kicked him!”

“If I had come to you, I would have not been the only one who would be photographed by the people around. Do you also want to be known by everyone online later?” Rosalie said helplessly.

“But if you hadn’t met Calvin this time, you would have been…”

“Of course, I’ll find another way. All right, let’s not talk about this.” Rosalie took Lillian to the nearby dessert shop.

After ordering two desserts, Rosalie changed the topic and said, “By the way, if you dream a lot and it seems that you have dreamed of some things in your childhood, but you don’t remember having done those things at all, could it be because maybe you heard others tell you such a story and mistake their story as something you’ve done yourself?”

Hearing this, Lillian almost got confused. What was Rosalie talking about? It took her a while to figure it out.

“I didn’t hear anyone have such an experience. Could it be possible that you have done such a thing? Did you forget it? It’s common in the TV series,” Lillian said.

“Do you mean amnesia?” Rosalie was stunned.

“Yeah. Loss of part of your memory. There are many such plots in novels and TV series,” Lillian said. “You can try hypnosis. Maybe you can remember it, but you’d better consult a doctor!”

“Hypnosis?” Rosalie thought.

She really wanted to figure out why she would have that dream.

Jonathan looked at the photos on his phone in which Calvin was pulling Rosalie into the car.

They had just been posted online and had become a hot topic.

Many people even wondered what the relationship between Rosalie and Calvin was.

Carlos looked at Jonathan staring at his phone with a gloomy face. Finally, he summoned up the courage to say, “Well… Mr. “Gunner appeared too fast, and the bodyguards responsible for protecting Ms. Leighton in the dark didn’t have time to

help…

However, Jonathan’s bright eyes were still staring at the photos on his phone, and his fingers tightened.

“I don’t want to see this online anymore.” After a while, Jonathan said coldly.

“Yes.” Carlos hurriedly answered and left the CEO’s Office.

In the quiet room, Jonathan’s fingers gently stroked Rosalie’s photo on the screen. He finally fixed his finger on Calvin’s hand which was holding Rosalie’s wrist.

In the photo, Calvin led her forward, which was like the painting Jonathan had seen before.

He remembered that when he was a child, he accidentally entered Calvin’s painting studio and saw his paintings. In those paintings, there were only a little girl and a little boy.

In some pictures, the girl was walking through the woods with the little boy. In some, the girl was carrying the little boy. Those paintings were like Calvin’s treasures. He didn’t even allow others to take a look at them.
