Jonathan’s fingers tightened around Calvin’s neck like he was about to break it. 

Alan hurriedly put down the glass and took Jonathan’s hand, trying to pull it away from Calvin’s neck. “Jonathan, what are you doing? Calvin was just asking a question. D-Don’t be rash…” 

Alan was scared to death, but Calvin, who was being strangled, didn’t look afraid at all. He said, “Is it possible that… it’s because of me?”

He didn’t want to repeat his father’s mistakes and have his life be controlled by another person.-

Jonathan released his grip on Calvin’s neck. Calvin coughed violently twice and finally began to breathe again. 

Alan breathed a sigh of relief, glad that nothing had happened. If this kind of thing happened several times more, he was afraid his heart couldn’t take it! 

“Is that important?” Jonathan asked coldly. 

Calvin looked at him and said with a smile, “Indeed, it doesn’t matter. Since you have broken up with Rosalie, who she gets with in the future has nothing to do with you, right?”
