The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 426

Chapter 426

After all, she was just a game for him.

“This is my business!” His voice sounded in her ear.

That was right. She didn’t even have the right to ask about it.

“Will you leave if I give you the photo?” Rosalie took a deep breath.

His body shook, and his eyelashes trembled slightly. After a while, he spat out the word “yes.”

“Okay, I’ll give you the photo.” She pushed him away, walked to the closet, looked through the album, and took out the photo of her in a floral dress as a child.

She just wanted him to leave quickly. The more he stayed in this small rental room, the more uneasy she felt.

She just wanted to stay away from him. This way, her heart would be calm and she could really forget him.

Rosalie handed the photo to Jonathan.

He took over the photo. Lowering his gaze, he stared at it in a daze.

Looking at Jonathan’s side profile, Rosalie couldn’t help but think of Lillian saying that she slapped him.

“It is really like what Lillian said? Did he let Lillian go because of me?” Rosalie thought.

“Has Calvin been here too?” His indifferent voice suddenly interrupted her thoughts.

“What?” Rosalie was stunned for a moment, only to find that he had lifted his deep eyes and was staring at her.

“Has he ever been here?” he repeated again.

“Mr. Youngblood, this is my personal business. You can leave now that you’ve gotten the photos, Rosalie walked toward the door of the rented house and was about to open it.

However, before her hand touched the doorknob, a hand pressed the door to stop her from opening it. Then, Rosalie could feel his scent wrapping around her body and his gentle breath spraying on her ears. “Will you go to Calvin’s side?”

Her body suddenly stiffened, and she subconsciously wanted to dodge him. Although she only moved slightly aside, his hand had already held her waist and pressed her into his arms.

“Let go of me!” Rosalie struggled.

However, her strength was useless when compared with Jonathan. His body pressed against her tightly, his fingers clasping her chin and forcing her face to look at him. “Will you go back to Calvin?”

It seemed that he must get an answer.

She suddenly had an impulse to laugh. After all, her ex-boyfriend, who broke up with her, came to ask if she was going to

another man’s side.

Jonathan didn’t know that she had cut all contact between her and Calvin when she chose to bury her memories and lie to him.

However, Jonathan was asking that right now.

Rosalie stayed silent as he fixed his eyes on her. His thin lips moved.

You won’t do that, right?”

“Why can’t I?” she asked déliberately, not liking the feeling of being seen through by him. “Calvin has been looking for me. for so many years. Now, he had just mistaken me for Fiona. He thinks that Fiona is the one he wants to find. Perhaps someday I will go and explain everything to him.”

Jonathan’s expression suddenly turned gloomy.

“Is she going to Calvin’s side?” he thought. Immediately, jealousy sparked in his heart and quickly spread to his whole body.

He thought, ‘Why am I feeling so uncomfortable? Why can her words affect me so easily? It’s like she is still controlling all of my emotions.

Didn’t I break up with her already? As long as I didn’t love her, it would be fine, right?’

“If I went to Calvin’s side, at least he wouldn’t only treat me as a game…” Her voice was still ringing.

Jonathan didn’t want her to talk anymore. He didn’t want to hear her talk about any possibility of returning to Calvin.

The next moment, he suddenly lowered his head and kissed her lips, swallowing all her voice.

Rosalie was stunned, not expecting Jonathan to kiss her suddenly. After all, they had already broken up with each other!

She didn’t want such a kiss!

Rosalie struggled desperately.

However, the more she struggled, the harder he kissed her. He even buckled her hands to prevent her from moving at all. When the kiss ended, his forehead pressed against hers. “Don’t… go to Calvin’s side, okay?” he begged in a hoarse voice.

The voice pulled her back from the kiss. “Jonathan, what right do you have to say this to me?”

The initial dazed look in his eyes soon turned into anger.

He stared at her, and she also glared back at him.

There seemed to be a kind of tension in the air.

Suddenly, a trace of pain rose from her knees. Rosalie unconsciously frowned and bent down slightly. Her hands hanging on the side of her body touched her knees.

He naturally noticed her abnormalness. “What’s wrong with you?”

“No…Nothing…” She bit her lips slightly, holding back the pain in her knee.
