The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 433

Chapter 433

Rosalie was awakened the next morning by the alarm on her phone.

Her head was a little dizzy, and her neck felt sore. She raised her hand, subconsciously rubbing her neck. Suddenly, as if remembering something, she stiffened and swiftly scanned her rented home.

But everything in the rental home was normal, and her pajamas were neatly worn. There was nothing different.

Last night in her dreams, it seemed as if someone had kissed her, and then… she fainted!

Although she didn’t see anyone coming, the kiss felt like… Jon!

But now it seemed that there was nothing unusual. She thought, “Could it be that the kiss was just a dream? Is it because I haven’t truly forgotten him in my heart that I dreamt such a dream?”

Rosalie’s eyes dimmed for a moment, then she lifted the thin quilt off her and got out of bed.

She didn’t know when she would truly be able to forget that man. Once, she thought she finally had a family, only to realize it was nothing more than a beautiful dream of her own.

Only by forgetting can she truly start anew!

Rosalie walked into the bathroom, grabbed her toothbrush and cup, and squeezed toothpaste onto it. As she was about to brush her teeth, she caught a glimpse of a red mark on her neck in the corner of her eye, and her whole body stiffened!

“What is this? Could it be…”

While wondering, she put down the toothbrush and stroked the red mark. After a while, her face flushed.

“It’s a hickey! But why do I have it on my body?” she thought.

She lifted her eyes in astonishment, gazing at her reflection in the mirror. Her pink lips were extraordinarily lustrous in the

mirror.

“Could it be….the dream last night wasn’t a dream? Did Jonathan really come into this rental home and… kiss me?”

When this thought flashed through her mind, she felt ridiculous.

Was it necessary for Jonathan to do so? Besides, it didn’t look like his style at all! He was the one who initiated the breakup, and then… he came in the middle of the night to kiss her?

It was impossible!

But… the hickey on her neck was so distinct in the mirror, and her lips seemed to retain the real feeling of being kissed…

So incredibly real!

When Amelia was discharged, Rosalie took a leave from the law firm to help with her discharge procedures. She then took a

taxi to send her back to the diner.

“Actually, you don’t need to take leavé specifically for this. My injury has almost recovered, and I can walk by myself,” Amelia said. In Strico, she didn’t have any relatives or friends, and her mother had to take care of Aiden.

It happened that Aiden was going to attend a special training class today, so she initially planned to leave the hospital by herself. However, she didn’t expect Rosalie to come over.

Coming to this city, the thing she felt most fortunate about was meeting Rosalie.

At this moment, Rosalie was placing some of Amelia’s personal belongings brought back from the hospital. She said, “How could I let you leave the hospital by yourself? Besides, the workload at the law firm isn’t that hectic. Taking a few hours off is not a big deal.”

“Thank you,” Amelia said.

“Amelia, we don’t need to be so formal. If I ever face difficulties, I believe you would help me too,” Rosalie smiled and said.

“You’re right.” Amelia smiled in agreement. “By the way, I’m planning to

move to Gerton.”

“Gerton?” Rosalie was stunned. This city was not far from Strico, but was also not close. It would take about three hours to drive there.

The scenery was beautiful, and despite being a tourist city, the cost of living wasn’t high. It could be considered to have the price level of a third-tier city in the country.

“When will you move?” Rosalie asked.

“Perhaps it’ll be around September. I need to arrange accommodation there first and then find a kindergarten for Aiden. With his hearing aid, he can communicate just like any other child. I hope to enroll him in a regular kindergarten, but I’m not sure if any kindergartens will accept a child like him,” Amelia replied.

Due to her son’s hearing impairment, logically, he should attend a special kindergarten. But seeing that her son was the same as an ordinary child, Amelia considered enrolling him in a regular kindergarten.

She wanted her son to grow up like an ordinary child, not a disabled person.

Deaf… that was what she owed the child!

But no matter how hard she tried, the most she could do was let Aiden wear a hearing aid. It was impossible for him to hear like a normal person.

“You’ll definitely find a place for him!” Rosalie said. “Aiden is so smart and lovely. Anyone who interacts with him will accept him. Hasn’t he gotten along well with those normal kids? When Mrs. Haab took him to the nearby park, he could play with other children there too.”
