The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 460

Chapter 460

But she felt a little regretful. She didn’t even remember how she got laid yesterday after getting drunk. It seemed that she needed to make another effort next time in order to get an impressive intimate experience.

Suddenly, she yelled as if something had come to her mind. “Where is Rosalie? Didn’t I stay with her last night?”

Hearing this, Callum got angry again. “So now you remember that you were with Rosalie? What did you say to me yesterday? You said you were busy with your project. But in fact, you and Rosalie went to that kind of place to watch the

show.”

Knowing that she was in the wrong, Lillian shrank her neck. “I simply wanted to ease Rosalie’s stress so she wouldn’t get too bored. I was really busy with the project during the day, and I only went to Rosalie in the evening.”

“How about taking others’ clothes? I didn’t see you taking my clothes on normal days. And now, you went and stole random men’s clothes,” he fumed, though his hands remained surprisingly delicate and cautious in their movements.

“I took the clothes to give to Rosalie!” Lillian quickly used Rosalie as a shield to justify her behavior.

Of course, she did say that she would give it to her friends.

“By the way, where is that vest?” She suddenly thought of it.

“I’ve thrown it away.” Callum pursed his lips and said. He didn’t know what the purpose of keeping it was.

Lillian blinked and said with a heartbroken expression, “Why did you throw it away? Do you know that if this dress is sold online, it can be sold for over 400 dollars!”

She felt heartbroken for the loss!

“Where’s your spine? I’ll give you the money later!” He rolled his eyes at her.

“I didn’t make the money you gave me. Happiness comes from spending money you’ve earned yourself!” she said. “Hey, can you apply a bit more pressure? Move a little to the left… Yes, right there. Massage it a few more times. That feels really good.”

Callum was about to laugh out angrily at the girl’s antics.

He started by questioning her, but in the end, she ended up giving the commands.

“Did

you send Rosalie back yesterday? Was she drunk too?” Lillian asked.

“She was drunk, but it wasn’t me who sent her back. It was Jonathan,” Callum said.

Lillian was startled and widened her eyes. She turned to Callum and asked, “Jonathan? Did he go to the bar yesterday?”

“Yes. He also saw you two women dance and sing!”

“What was he doing there? Didn’t he break up with Rosalie?”

“Why don’t you ask him yourself?” Callum raised his eyebrows.

Lillian fell silent. She thought of Jonathan, thinking it would be better to ask Rosalie instead.

Suddenly, she remembered something else. She quickly picked up her phone by the bedside and was about to make a call.

“What’s wrong?” he asked.

“I need to make a call. I haven’t been back all night. My parents should be worried.” She could foresee that she would be criticized by her parents for half a day after returning home today.

“I’ve told your parents. They won’t be worried,” he said.

“What?” Lillian thought as she blinked before she realized something. “Did you tell them I spent the night with you?”

“What else?” He raised his eyebrows and asked.

“T-Then, didn’t they know that we were… Oh, my!” Lillian exclaimed. Her parents were incredibly conservative, and the thought of them discovering that a man had taken her to bed… No, it should be she had taken a man to bed… She couldn’t even begin to imagine the punishment that awaited her when she returned home.

“Are you ashamed to sleep with me?” His face grew somber. Her expression seemed to imply that she was embarrassed to reveal his presence to the public.

“No, no! It’s an honor to sleep with you!” Lillian hurriedly said, “I’m afraid my parents can’t accept it because they are

conservative.”

Each time Callum was on the verge of exploding with anger due to the woman’s actions, he found himself amused by her the very next moment. “I simply told your parents that you had a drink and decided to spend the night in the guest room I prepared for you.”

Lillian breathed a sigh of relief.

“Put on your clothes first, then join me for breakfast, and have the hangover remedy soup afterward. You’ll feel much better,” he suggested. The hangover remedy soup he had asked the housekeeper to prepare last night hadn’t had a chance to be consumed by her.

“All right!” Lillian replied, then watched Callum get out of bed and handed her a fresh dress. He then retrieved his trousers. from the wardrobe and started to put them on.

Lillian kept staring at Callum and couldn’t help but notice how charming he looked, even when he was dressing himself.

“What a shame… Why couldn’t I remember last night?” Lillian thought. She regretted getting so intoxicated, as her memory of the night was hazy. Otherwise, she might be left with a wonderful memory.

“What’s wrong? Why do you look at me like that?” Callum looked at Lillian and asked.

Her

gaze seemed to be both appreciative and regretful at the same time.

“N-Nothing,” she stammered, finally putting on her own clothes. As she held up the outfit, she noticed the trademark and recognized it as a famous brand. The cost of this ensemble alone exceeded her annual income.
