The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 596

Chapter 596

Stephen and Abigail glanced at each other. After years of marriage, they could naturally understand each other’s minds.

Stephen cleared his throat and finally gave in. “If you really can solve all the conflicts within the White family, then we will give our blessing to the marriage.”

After all, parents always wanted their children to be happy.

Lillian was overjoyed. “Did Dad and Mom just agree to it?”

Callum also breathed a sigh of relief. After all, they were Lillian’s parents and the most important person to her. He also hoped that their wedding would be blessed by them!

He turned around and looked at the smile on Lillian’s face. He secretly made up his mind that he had to hurry to end the troubles of the White family in order to

Lillian a better and safer future!

When Rosalie came to the hospital to discharged in two days.

Calvin, she went to visit Aiden first. Aiden was doing well and could get

Coincidentally, Aiden and Calvin were hospitalized in the same hospital at that time.

However, Aiden was staying in an ordinary children’s ward, while Calvin lived in the VIP ward.

When Aiden saw Rosalie, he was obviously very happy. Rosalie bought some fruit for Aiden, so she cut a dragon fruit for

him.

When Aiden was almost done, Rosalie wiped his mouth and hands and then took out a new storybook she bought for him.

Although Aiden was only four years old, he already knew a lot of words. He could read some fairy tale storybooks by himself.

While Aiden was reading, Rosalie asked Amelia in a low voice, “Amelia, what’s the matter? You don’t look well.” Since Rosalie entered the ward, she had noticed that Amelia kept getting distracted.

“It’s nothing,” Amelia answered awkwardly.

“If you have any difficulties, just tell me. Even if I may not be able to help much, I can always share some of your burden,” Rosalie said.

“You’ve helped me a lot,” Amelia said. It was just that the custody case was like a big stone pressing on her heart, which was making her out of breath.

Even though Rosalie was willing to file the lawsuit for free, she kept hesitating. “Do I really going to fight this case?”

The probability for her to win the lawsuit was too small, and once the proceeding officially started, she would start to be worried that the media would report the fact that she had been in prison. She couldn’t imagine how much harm it would cause Aiden.

Just as Rosalie was about to leave, she met Lucas, who also came to see Aiden.

“H-hello!” Lucas greeted her. “I knew that Aiden was admitted to the hospital, so I came here to visit,” Lucas said.

Although he knew Aiden because of Rosalie at the beginning, he liked Aiden very much, so they kept in touch. He sometimes called Amelia on her mobile phone and talked to Aiden. Sometimes he also brought some toys to play with Aiden.

After knowing that Aiden was hospitalized, he wanted to come and have a look.

“You… How are you these days?” Lucas asked shyly.

“Not bad.” Rosalie smiled faintly.

“Then…” Lucas hesitated for a moment and finally said, “That’s good if you’re good.”

“I have a friend who is also hospitalized here. I still need to visit him. I’ll get going, then,” Rosalie said.

“Oh, okay,” Lucas replied. He then turned sideways in a somewhat awkward manner to let Rosalie pass through.

When Rosalie walked toward the elevator on the other side of the corridor, Lucas looked at her slender back in a daze.

He didn’t know which one Rosalie chose between Jonathan and Calvin. He didn’t dare and didn’t find it necessary to ask her. After all, she would be happy no matter which of those two men she chose.

And he was far too inferior compared to those two men!

Despite knowing that, he still couldn’t let go of her. He knew that there was no chance of them being together, but his feelings couldn’t be let go on command.

Rosalie went to Calvin’s ward. But this time, not only did she see Fiona but also Calvin’s parents.

“What are you doing here?” Samantha’s face instantly darkened as she looked at Rosalie with displeasure.

“I’ve come to visit… Mr. Calvin Gunner,” Rosalie said indifferently with a bag of fruit in her hand. “I bought some fruit. I don’t know if Mr. Gunner likes them or not, so I’ll just put down the fruit and leave.”

She could see that she was not welcomed by Calvin’s parents. After all, who would like a woman who almost ended the life of

their beloved son?

Samantha replied angrily, “No need. We are not short of fruit here. If it weren’t for you, Calvin would not get hurt?”

“Mom!” Calvin interrupted, “It’s my choice to get hurt. No one was forcing me! If you really care about me, then don’t treat Rosalie like that.”
