The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 599

Chapter 599

After the ring made from the Icy Crystal diamond was completed, Jonathan locked the ring inside the safe and never took it

out.

It was like a taboo, just as Rosalie’s name became Jonathan’s taboo.

But now, that woman had repeatedly violated the taboo!

“Go and find out how she knew about the Icy Crystal diamond. Whoever leaked it will bear the responsibility,” Jonathan said coldly.

“Yes,” Carlos answered.

The woman who was begging Rosalie immediately turned pale, and her lips trembled. She wanted to talk but did not know

what to say.

“Besides, she is right. There’s no use begging her.” Jonathan was talking to the waitress, but his eyes were looking at Rosalie.

For a moment, Rosalie only felt waves of emotions churn within her chest.

He was looking at her, but it seemed that there was no place for her in his eyes. There was no emotional fluctuation in those beautiful eyes. He was staring at her with an indifferent and emotionless gaze.

Perhaps, in his opinion, she was no longer any person of significance.

“Carlos, I don’t want to see this woman again in Strico.” After saying that in an impassive tone, Jonathan went straight to the

car.

Carlos glanced at the waitress and Rosalie. He naturally understood that Jonathan was referring to the waitress.

If Jonathan didn’t want Rosalie to stay in Strico, how could Rosalie still show up in front of him so casually?

When Jonathan and his party left, Lillian rushed forward and pulled the waitress’ hands away from Rosalie’s arm. “Why are you dragging Rosalie into this mess when you offended Jonathan? A woman like you who wants to build your success upon others’ failures should reap what you sow! If you continue to harass Rosalie in the future, don’t blame me for being merciless!”

As Lillian uttered those words, she pulled Rosalie toward Callum’s car. Callum followed the two women.

Just as she was about to get to the car, Lillian suddenly said, “Rosalie, why are your hands always shivering?” Indeed. Her hands were trembling and cold.

“I…” Rosalie was about to speak when she suddenly felt an urge to vomit rushing up from her stomach. She pushed away her friend, squatted on the side of the road, and couldn’t help but throw up.

She vomited so much that she vomited all the food she had eaten.

Lillian hurried forward and asked with concern, “Rosalie, are you all right?”

Rosalie didn’t have time to answer Lillian. She kept vomiting until she felt that her stomach was empty and there was nothing left to throw up. Only then did she stop.

Lillian hurriedly took out a tissue and handed it to Rosalie.

Rosalie wiped her lips. She paused to catch her breath before saying, “Maybe it was because of that woman’s hand. The sight of it made me feel uncomfortable…”

Hearing that, Lillian didn’t ask any more questions. She knew Rosalie must have been reminded of the scene when her own fingernails were pulled out.

Although the woman just now deserved to be punished for her own actions, the scene still reminded Rosalie of her own painful experience.

“Let’s go back and have a good rest. Don’t think too much,” Lillian said.

Rosalie nodded. A pensive look spread across Callum’s face as he looked at the ashen-faced Rosalie.

At night, Callum said to Lillian, “Do you think it’s possible that Rosalie is pregnant?”

Hearing that, Lillian almost spat out the drink in her mouth. “No way!” she replied firmly.

Callum couldn’t help but be curious upon listening to her confident response. “Why are you so sure? Rosalie and Jonathan haven’t broken up for more than three months. Even if she’s really pregnant, it is still hard to tell now.”

Lillian bit her lip and thought, “How should I explain this to him? After all, this is Rosalie’s private affairs. Her chances of getting pregnant are too low since she suffered such severe injuries in prison previously. When Rosalie was with Jonathan, she conditioned her body, but they broke up not long after. subsequently, Rosalie didn’t feel the need to undergo the process of conditioning her body anymore.”

At that moment, facing Callum’s gaze. Lillian said. “Anyway, it is impossible for Rosalie to get pregnant. Callum, I promised

Rosalie that my child in the future would also be hers. She’ll also be my child’s mother. You won’t blame me for taking your own initiative, right?”

Callum looked at the woman in front of him and smiled gently. “No.” That was because he knew what kind of friend Rosalie was to her.

He reckoned the two were friends who could trust each other with their lives.

He felt it was a fortunate thing to encounter such a friend in life

Lillian hugged Callum’s waist and said, “Callum, you are so nice!”

He stroked her hair gently. “In two days, I’ll go back to the White family and deal with those things. Wait for me in Strico. This time, I will send bodyguards to protect you from that kind of danger.”
