The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 633

Chapter 633

From last night to the following day, she had repeatedly expressed her reluctance to reduce the babies.

If there was any accident to her, then he…

Jonathan’s eyes darkened. “Have you thought it through?”

“I have think about it clearly,” Rosalie said.

“No matter what happens in the end, you will never regret it?” he asked.

She replied, “Yes, I will never regret it!”

Jonathan pursed his thin lips tightly. After a while, he looked at the doctors of the expert group and asked, “If we decided not to reduce the number of babies and insist on having all of them, what are the chances that the mother and children will be safe?”

“50 percent,” they answered.

Jonathan pursed his lips even tighter. He thought, “Not even the passing line of 60 percent…”

He had never been willing to do anything he was unsure of, but then… “Then let’s go with the way of having all the babies. However, if anything happens along the way, do whatever is necessary to keep the adult alive!”

“But…” Rosalie wanted to say something more, but Jonathan interrupted her.

“Rosalie, this is my bottom line. If you disagree, I would rather you hate me for the rest of my life!” he said coldly.

Rosalie understood what he meant. In other words, if she disagreed, he would use all his means to tie her to the operating table.

“I understand.” She finally compromised. After all, the most important thing at that moment was letting him agree with the plan to keep all the babies.

Subsequently, the expert group spoke to Rosalie and Jonathan about the plan to keep all the babies.

Rosalie listened carefully and asked questions occasionally, while Jonathan’s gaze was locked on Rosalie most of the time.

After communicating with the expert group, the doctors left the conference room one after another. Rosalie turned around and realized that Jonathan was staring at her.

In his beautiful eyes, his gaze was not cold but gentle and warm. It was as if his eyes were a bottomless hole that wanted to look right through her. She was the only person that he cared about in the world.

She thought, “What am I thinking? How could his feelings for me be like before?” Rosalie rebuked herself in her heart that she was overthinking.

“What are you looking at?” she asked.

“Nothing.” He blushed and said, “Let’s go. Don’t you want to see Lillian in the hospital?”

“Okay,” Rosalie replied. She stood up and walked toward the door of the conference room. After a few steps, she realized he didn’t follow her.

She turned around and looked at him, only to find he was standing a few steps away, looking at her with the same gaze as just now. Suddenly, his lips slowly curved into a self-mocking smile. Only then did he move forward and walk toward her.

In an instant, Rosalie felt as though her heart had been struck heavily.

When the car arrived at the hospital Lillian was in, Jonathan’s gaze and smile could not stop revolving in Rosalie’s mind. Somehow, she felt sad.

There were already staff waiting in the hospital. Jonathan said, “The staff will take you to Lillian’s ward. I won’t go upstairs. After you are done, call the driver. He will come to pick you up.”

“Okay.” Rosalie agreed and followed the staff to Lillian’s ward.

Jonathan sat in the car, staring at Rosalie slowly fading away from sight.

She wouldn’t know that at that moment, she was betting on her life, and he was also doing the same.

If she gave birth to a new life, he would also bet his life on it.

If anything really happened to her, he would accompany her. Since she wanted to take the bet, he would accompany her to take the bet with the rest of his life!

Rosalie arrived at Lillian’s ward. It was an IUC ward, but it was a relatively independent ward. A room was next to the ward for family members to stay overnight.

The environment and conditions there seemed much better than those of previous hospitals.

When Stephen and Abigail saw Rosalie, they immediately thanked her.

“Mr. Quinn, Mrs. Quinn, you don’t need to thank me like this. Lillian sacrificed so much for me in the past. I just did what I should do now.” Rosalie was concerned about Lillian’s condition. “What did the doctor say? Did he say when Lillian could recover?”

“He didn’t mention about that. Maybe it will take some time, but he said he would find the best doctor in the country and abroad to treat her. There may be a better treatment plan, and… now, there are many more medication choices.” Stephen was grateful.

After all, their financial capability was limited before. Even if they wanted to save their daughter, they could not afford many expensive medicines.

However, the hospital told them they could give their daughters the most expensive medicines, and Jonathan would bear all those expenses.

They naturally understood that Jonathan was willing to take responsibility for the sake of Rosalie’s relationship.
