Chapter 635
However, the most embarrassing part for her was yet to come.
“Pick it up!” Rosalie demanded. “Since you’re the one who dropped the gown on the floor, you should be the one to pick it up!”
Fiona protested, her tone defiant. “Why should I listen to you and pick it up?” She turned to the staff around her and said, “You all don’t intend to kick this woman out, do you? Fine, I’ll do it myself then!” As Fiona reached out to grab Rosalie, her hand was intercepted by an unremarkable-looking woman standing behind Rosalie.
In an instant, the woman deftly twisted Fiona’s arm, causing her to cry out in pain!
“Mrs. Youngblood, how would you like to handle this situation?” the woman asked Rosalie respectfully. Rosalie responded with a cold tone, “Make her pick up the gown.”
The woman, one of the female bodyguards Jonathan had assigned to protect Rosalie, displayed remarkable agility. Without her exceptional skills, Rosalie would never have risked a confrontation with Fiona, especially given her pregnancy.
“Understood,” the female bodyguard replied, then turned to Fiona. “You heard what Mrs. Youngblood said. Pick up the gown.”
“Why should I be the one to pick it up?” Fiona’s face flushed as she protested, but then a sharp pain shot through her twisted arm, making her cry out in agony. She turned to the store staff and exclaimed, “Are all just standing around? Isn’t anyone going to step in? If you don’t kick these two people out of the store immediately, none of you will have a future in Strico!”

In her current state of pain and anger, Fiona didn’t pay attention to the term “Mrs. Youngblood” used by the female bodyguard, nor did she wonder why Rosalie had such a bodyguard.
Fiona was a frequent customer at this store, and the staff knew well that she was connected to the entertainment industry’s scion, Calvin.
“Someone, please, hurry and help Ms. Haberly!” The store manager had clearly chosen to side with Fiona, as offending Calvin was not an option.
However, right after that, another voice rang out, carrying an overwhelming sense of authority. “Anyone who dares to help can forget about ever setting foot in Strico again!”
The voice was clear and composed, but it radiated a potent aura.
“This voice…” Rosalie mused, briefly taken aback, as she raised her head to spot Jonathan approaching her.
He was dressed in a gray suit paired with a navy blue shirt, exuding an elegant yet mysterious charm. His strikingly handsome face possessed an allure that could captivate any woman.
Jonathan walked up to Rosalie and asked, “Running into some trouble?”
“It’s hardly a big trouble,” Rosalie replied. “But how did

up here?”
“I knew you were here, and I have some free time, so I decided to drop by,” Jonathan replied, taking Rosalie’s hand naturally. With a slight frown, he remarked, “Your hands are quite cold.”
As he spoke, he gently cupped her hands and began to rub them to warm them up.
This unexpected gesture momentarily left the onlookers in stunned silence.
Just moments ago, it seemed like a confrontation was about to erupt, and now, it had transformed into a heartwarming scene.
Among the people, only Fiona stared in disbelief with widened eyes, wondering, “How could Jonathan be with Rosalie? Aren’t they completely over?”
Jonathan cast a cold glance at Fiona, who was being restrained by the female bodyguard, and casually asked, “Do you want me to handle her for you?”

His words were nonchalant, but they sent a shock through Fiona. She hastily said, “Jonathan, d-don’t let Rosalie deceive you. She’s deeply in love with that Lucas now. She’s fighting tooth and nail to become his representative lawyer. She even stood outside Calvin’s mansion all night for Lucas’s sake…”
At this moment, Fiona was desperate to sow discord between Jonathan and Rosalie.
Rosalie’s body trembled as Fiona’s words brought back memories of that most despairing night!
The people around them were shocked when they heard Fiona mention Jonathan’s name. Meanwhile, the two wealthy women who had previously spoken ill of Rosalie had recognized Jonathan earlier and were now pale, exchanging fearful glances, realizing the implications of their earlier actions. Jonathan stopped his hand-rubbing, shot Fiona a cold glare, and said, “Since when did it become your concern, a woman like you, to pass judgment on my wife? That mouth of yours really needs to be shut.”
