The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 667

Chapter 667

Jonathan was a bit surprised by Amelia’s decision.

“Amelia says it’s for Aiden to have a better future and not get involved in adult disputes. But there were similar issues in the past, and at that time, Amelia didn’t want to give up custody.”

Rosalie couldn’t help but feel that something had happened to make Amelia change her mind

Moreover, Warren was going to marry Irene. How could Amelia be willing to give her child up to a woman who hurt her?

“Nevertheless, her decision isn’t wrong. If we look at it from a perspective of maximizing Aiden’s interests, having him with Warren might be better,” Jonathan analyzed. “Besides, her chances of winning this lawsuit were already quite slim.”

“You can’t easily draw a conclusion before the lawsuit ends. Besides, you are also helping me find the attending physician of that year. As long as we find him, we might win!” Rosalie said, “This won’t do. I’m going to -Amelia’s place now!”

“It’s quite late!” Jonathan cautioned. “Besides, she’s probably at her food cart right now. She might not have time to talk. Why don’t you wait until tomorrow morning to see her?”

Rosalie nodded after some thought. “Okay, I’ll go see Amelia tomorrow and find out what’s really going on.”

At this moment, Amelia was not running her food cart as usual. Instead, she had come to the hotel where Warren was staying.

Amelia looked at the Vault Nightclub’s luxurious exterior of the hotel and flashed a bitter smile. She clenched the hem of her dress tightly.

She thought, “Hadn’t I thought it all through before coming here? What is there to retreat from now? I’m just making the right choice.”

Taking a deep breath, Amelia walked into the hotel and approached the reception desk. “I’d like to see Mr. Warren York. Please inform him that Amelia Haab is here and willing to agree to his request.”

The hotel staff at the reception desk said, “Please wait a moment.” They then made an internal call, and after a while, they said to Amelia, “Ms. Haab, Mr. York is willing to see you. You can take the elevator over there.”

Amelia took the elevator to Warren’s room.

Once she stepped into this room today, everything would fall into place.

She had never imagined that one day she would make such a decision. She had originally thought she would fight for custody of Aiden with Warren at all costs. Amelia’s nose stung as tears filled her eyes.

She bit back the urge to cry.

There was nothing to cry about. Now, tears were the least valuable thing for her. Her life was like this, so she hoped Aiden could grow up well and lead a good life.

For now, she couldn’t do much for Aiden!

Amelia raised her hand and pressed the doorbell twice. After a moment, the door opened, revealing Warren’s figure.

Warren, however, only gave her a brief glance before turning and

walking inside. Amelia bit her lip lightly and followed him into the room, closing the door behind her.

Amelia followed Warren to the living room of the suite, and he finally stopped and turned, staring at her coldly. “You came to see me, to say that you agree to my request. So, are you planning to give up custody of -Aiden?”

“Yes,” Amelia softly uttered that word, but as she spoke it, she felt her soul trembling.

This single “yes” made Warren furrow his brows.

In theory, her willingness to give up custody should have made him happy, as it would save him time and effort.

However, inexplicably, at this moment, he felt no joy.

“Do you really want to give up custody?” he asked, narrowing his eyes and staring sharply at her.

Amelia gave a bitter smile. “I’m giving up custody. Isn’t that what you wanted? But I hope you can agree to two things.”

Her bitter smile seemed to irritate him.

“Fine, go on.” He sat down on the couch calmly.

“First, I hope you will personally take care of Aiden, not completely entrust him to Irene. Although you will marry her soon, she may not genuinely care for the child if conflicts arise. Talk to Aiden often. You know our past, and she may not treat the child sincerely.”

“Irene is not the person you imagine her to be. Do you think she would
