Chapter 689
“Next weekend?” Amelia hesitated.
Rosalie asked, “What’s wrong with next weekend?”
“Next weekend, Warren might take Aiden to the amusement park,” Amelia replied. At least, that was the plan she had made with Warren for the upcoming weekend.
Hearing that, Aiden, who stood next to her, immediately exclaimed in excitement, “Mommy, can Daddy really go to the amusement park with us?”
“Yes.” Amelia gently stroked her son’s head. Seeing his delighted expression, she felt that it was worthwhile, even if she believed her last shred of dignity was about to be crushed again.
Rosalie could not help but focus on the word “us” that Aiden mentioned. She whispered to Amelia, “Are you going to the amusement park with Aiden and Warren?”
Amelia hummed in response before nodding. “When Aiden was at the
kindergarten earlier, he said his wish was to go to the amusement park with his daddy and mommy. I want to make his wish come true.”
“But your health…”
“I’ll just accompany Aiden to the amusement park and watch him play. I’ll be fine,” she added.
Rosalie was soon to become a mother herself, so she could empathize with Amelia’s feelings at that moment. “Make sure to take care of your health. Don’t hesitate to call me if you need anything.”
“Sure,” she replied with a grin.
Looking at the smile on her face, Rosalie had no idea how Amelia had managed to convince Warren to go to the amusement park, but she knew it was not an easy task.
Back at the Youngblood residence, Rosalie was still feeling somber. After seeing Jonathan, she hugged him and asked, “How about we take our children to the amusement park when they’re old enough?”
Jonathan raised his eyebrows slightly. “Why do you suddenly think of this?”
“I visited Amelia today, and she told me that she learned Aiden’s wish was to go to the amusement park with both his parents. Since Aiden was born, he has never been to the amusement park with his mom and dad. Despite Amelia giving Aiden all her love, and even though Warren was a jerk, Aiden felt it was important to spend time with them,” Rosalie explained.
Jonathan held Rosalie’s hand and gently kissed her fingertips. “We won’t be like them,” he vowed. “We can take our children to the amusement park every month.”
“Okay, we’ll do that once a month.” Rosalie smiled. “I’m sure you’ll be a good

daddy in the future.”
He inquired, “How are you planning to reward me for being a good daddy, then?”- “What reward do you want?” she asked back.
Jonathan responded, “Spend the whole day with me tomorrow, okay?”
“Tomorrow is your birthday. Of course, I’ll spend the whole day with you,” she said, gently cupping his handsome face. “Well, I’ll grant you three wishes. As long as I can make them come true, I’ll do it, okay?”
His eyes suddenly darkened, and he seemed to look at her in a daze.
“What’s the matter? Don’t you like what I said?” Rosalie was confused. She had thought he would be happy with her proposal.
“Nothing.” His eyelashes fluttered slightly, and he replied with a grin, “I like it very much. I’ll just need some time to think about which three wishes to make.”
Jonathan cherished every one of the three wishes deeply.
The following morning, as Rosalie slowly opened her eyes, the first sight that greeted her was Jonathan’s handsome face.
Even though she would gaze upon his face every day, she would still find herself in awe of his striking appearance.
It was peculiar that she did not experience those emotions when she gazed at exceptionally handsome male celebrities. Even those who garnered widespread female admiration would, in her eyes, initially appear astonishingly
good-looking, but after observing them for some time, they would gradually become ordinary to her.
Yet, for some reason, she never seemed to tire of looking at Jonathan.
“Good morning. Happy birthday!” she greeted him.
Flashing a grin, he responded, “Good morning.”
“You don’t have to go to the company today, right?” she asked, watching him take his clothes out of the wardrobe and put them on.
Every time she saw him dressed, it felt like watching a scene from a film unfolding before her eyes.
Even though they were already a married couple, and she had seen every inch of his body, she still could not help but blush and be mesmerized by it.
Jonathan, too, did not mind her appreciating his physique with a thorough gaze. Amelia could not help but ask, “Jon, will our child look like you?”
After slipping into his shirt and fastening the buttons, he inquired, “Why do you ask? Are you hoping our children will take after me?”
She hummed and nodded in agreement. “It would be wonderful if our son takes after you. I bet he’d have all the girls swooning. And if we have a daughter, maybe she’ll have all the guys fighting for her.”

“But I hope our child, whether a boy or girl, carries your traits,” he replied in a gentle tone.
“Me?” Rosalie quipped, “Don’t you think it would be a pity if they look like me? It’ll be a waste if they don’t inherit your gorgeous features.”
