Chapter 784
Warren knew he would pay such a price, but he still did it for Amelia. “Warren is paying for his sins.” Then, Rosalie asked, “Has he come to see you in the last few years?”
“Yes, but he knows I don’t want to see him. So most of the time, he will not show up in front of me,” Amelia said. She then turned to Aiden, who was playing with Jennifer, and continued, “The York family has also been looking for Aiden on and off, hoping that he can reunite with them.”
“You didn’t agree?” Rosalie asked, considering that Aiden still carried his mother’s surname.
“Aiden did not want to,” Amelia said. “Warren said something to Aiden that he should not have said back then. He thought the child would not care about it and just coaxed him afterward. However, children tend to remember the ones who had hurt them.”
“Will you forgive Warren?” Rosalie asked. She had deliberately searched for Warren’s news, knowing that Warren had not been married in the last five years and had no girlfriend or scandals. Rosalie thought, “Warren might want to wait for Amelia to change her mind.”
“He and I were separated five years ago. I forgave him because it takes lot of emotion to hate someone, but we will never be together again,” Amelia said calmly.
It seemed that those past emotions had been brushed off.

Rosalie did not know if Amelia had made the right choice. “They used to love each other so much. Now they’re separated for good. What a shame…” she thought.
When Rosalie left with Jennifer, she saw a black Maybach parked in a shadow near the concession stand.
Someone could be seen in the back seat through the window.
‘Is it rare to see a car like that in a place like this? Could the man in the car be Warren?” Rosalie wondered.
Even after Warren had ruined Irene’s reputation, accepted the punishment, and overturned the case for Amelia, he still could not erase the damage he had done to Amelia and Aiden.
Meanwhile, Jennifer suddenly said in a sweet voice, “Mommy, it’s time to get off!”
Rosalie suddenly regained her senses and realized that the subway she had taken with Jennifer had reached its stop.
Warren and Amelia had occupied Rosalie’s mind before.
“Okay. Let’s go home.” Rosalie took Jennifer’s hand and walked toward the subway station exit.
Naturally, the Youngblood residence was Rosalie and Jennifer’s home. Rosalie walked Jennifer back to the Youngblood residence, which was also a way to familiarize Jennifer with the neighborhood.
To Rosalie’s surprise, she saw a tall figure standing not far ahead as she reached the entrance of the Youngblood residence.
The man was dressed in a beige casual suit. His delicate but indifferent face was full of anxiety at that moment.
“That’s Calvin!” Rosalie exclaimed inwardly.
If Jonathan were the love of her life, Calvin would be the one she did not know how to face.
Calvin had helped Rosalie and saved her when she grew up.
Rosalie knew Calvin liked her, but she could not give any response other than refusal.
Rosalie also heard from Lillian that Calvin was devastated after Rosalie supposedly died. In those days, journalists often reported that Calvin was drunk, knelt at Rosalie’s grave, and cried.
After that, Calvin left Strico and rarely returned.
At that moment, Calvin seemed to feel Rosalie’s gaze. He turned around and looked at Rosalie, then his body suddenly shook, and his eyes were fixed on Rosalie.
“All these years, I only saw Rosalie in my dreams or when I was drunk!” Calvin thought.
In an instant, Calvin almost lost his balance.
“It is Rosalie! She is real! Alan is right! Rosalie is still alive!” Calvin thought.
The next moment, Calvin called out Rosalie’s name in a hoarse voice and rushed toward her.
Calvin’s emotions were all over the place because of the love he had for Rosalie.
As Calvin ran to Rosalie, Calvin suddenly heard Jennifer’s voice asking, “Mommy, who is he?”
Jennifer’s voice brought Calvin back to his senses. Only then did Calvin realize that a little girl of about four or five was standing next to Rosalie, and the child looked very similar to Rosalie.
Even then, Rosalie said nothing, but Calvin could guess the girl was Rosalie’s child. “This must be one of the triplets Rosalie was pregnant with. It turns out that Guillermo is not the only child who survived,” Calvin thought.
“I am…” Calvin hesitated for a moment before crouching down and said in a hoarse voice, “I am Mr. Gunner. What is your name?”
