Chapter 855
At that moment, Felix looked down at his hands. The girl who played the piano before said her name was Jennifer, and she also said that she wanted to play the piano with him.
He thought, “If I play the piano with her, will playing the piano become enjoyable?”
“Did you have fun today?” A woman’s voice sounded next to her. The woman who was driving the car asked the question.
“Not bad,” Felix said lightly. Usually, he would’ve answered “so-so,” so his response this time was an exception.
“Really?” A smile tugged at the lips of that woman. “I’m very happy too.”
She thought, “How could I not be happy to see someone I’ve not seen in so many years ‘living’ so well? The better they lived now, the more miserable they would be when they suffer the loss in the future.”
The reason was none other than that she had to live pathetically in the shadows while the despicable woman, Rosalie, got to indulge in life.
“Felix, do you like the little girl who just played the piano with you?” the woman asked.
Felix kept silent.
The woman didn’t care and continued, “But remember that you and the little girl will never be friends whether you like her or not.”
Rosalie and Jonathan went to the police station and recorded their statements.
A group of reporters, who heard the news, arrived at the police station. The tightly packed crowd almost blocked the entrance.
“I’ll ask someone to drive the car to the side door later. There are fewer people squatting over there,” Jonathan said.
“Then I’ll go to the bathroom first. Wait for me,” Rosalie said.
“Okay,” Jonathan replied.
Rosalie went into the bathroom while Jonathan was standing in a corridor not far away, leaning against the wall, thinking about what Yoel and Agyness had said to the police officers when they recorded their statements earlier.
Neither of them admitted that they were involved in the flowerpot drop incident. Of course, it was impossible to rule out that they were lying. However, he had no choice but to investigate that matter further.
Jonathan thought, “But if it weren’t them, who could it be? Who would hate Rosalie so much that they wanted her to die?
Jonathan’s gaze darkened as he pondered.

At that moment, a policewoman came over with Agyness. Obviously, it was because Agyness was the suspect, so the policewoman had to escort her to use the bathroom.
Agyness wore a handcuff. Although the makeup on her face was still delicate, her face was pale as a ghost and filled with hesitation and fear.
She even walked with her feet dragging on the ground.
When Agyness saw Jonathan, her demeanor suddenly became agitated. “Mr. Youngblood, please spare me. For the sake of the bond between Wrenna and the Youngblood family, please spare me. Wrenna is the Youngblood family’s adopted daughter. If I go to jail, it will also damage the reputation of the Youngblood family…”
Jonathan just stared at Agyness coldly. “I never care about the reputation of the Youngblood family.”
Agyness was suffocated and almost subconsciously wanted to ask him what did he actually care about then.
However, just as she was about to utter those words, a figure strode out from the bathroom not far away. The person was Rosalie!
Agyness noticed the look in Jonathan’s eyes turned from sheer cold and full of malice to a look of utter tenderness as he shifted his eyes onto Rosalie.
She thought, “Does this man not care at all about the Youngblood family’s reputation? So, the only thing he cares about is Rosalie?”
Agyness suddenly felt sorrowful. The policewoman shouted at her, “Hurry up and walk! Don’t deliberately delay!”
Agyness began walking again. When Rosalie was walking in her direction and getting closer to her, the resentment in Agyness’ chest intensified.
She thought, “Rosalie is the culprit for my current misery. If it weren’t for her… If she had never existed…”
The moment when they passed each other, Agyness suddenly used all her strength to bump into Rosalie.
“Ah!” Rosalie was caught off guard and knocked sideways. At that moment, on the
other side of the corridor where alle stood was an open window. Due to the
force of the collision, her body fell sideways, and she fell outside the window.
However, Agyness seemed to be desperately trying to knock Rosalie out of the window. The policewoman couldn’t even hold her back.
Rosalie only felt that her feet had been lifted off the ground. She instinctively wanted to grab something and stabilize her body, but she couldn’t.
Her upper body was now extended out of the window, and she could even see the blue sky and white clouds outside.
She thought, “Am I going to fall? Will I die?”

At that moment, the scene of her sitting in the car suddenly appeared in her mind. The car seemed to be leaning back, and she was looking through the window glass at that sky…
