Chapter 879
Rosalie bolted in the direction of the source while Carlos hurriedly followed her. The groan was still sounding intermittently as if someone was trying hard to put up with it all but could not hold back because of too much pain.
When Rosalie and Carlos rushed to the room where the sound came from, they heard a middle-aged man’s voice accompanying the roar. “Please calm down, Mr. Youngblood. Everything you see has already happened before…”
The second Rosalie darted inside, she only saw Jonathan lying on a white recliner. Standing next to him was Giuseppe.
At that point, Jonathan was still in a state of hypnosis. His eyes were not opened, but something was off. His hands seemed to be desperately trying to grab onto something. It was as though he was about to leap up from his seat. On top of that, his pearly whites were biting his lower lip with all his might, scraping his own lip as fresh blood flowed down.
“Jon! What’s going on?” Rosalie asked in a frantic. Due to having amnesia, she had also learned about hypnosis and knew that normal hypnosis would not lead to such a situation as Jonathan was experiencing.
“Mr. Gibson? Why are you guys here?” questioned Giuseppe.
“What’s exactly happening to Jon? Stop the hypnosis right now! Wake him up already!” Rosalie was worried sick.
Then came Giuseppe’s statement. “Now, all we can do is wait for Mr. Youngblood to calm down. Attempting to break his halfway will only cause greater damage to his mental health! Who on earth hypnotized Mr. Youngblood before this? His amnesia was caused by hypnotism, and the person who gave him the hypnosis. session-”
It was then that Jonathan, who was still in the recliner, suddenly bellowed, “No!” His hand abruptly pulled away all the wires connected to the devices that had been wound around him. The recliner even turned over because of his violent
movements.
Jonathan fell to the ground. Rosalie rushed over to help the man up, but the next second, she was flung off by him, ramming into a low cabinet beside her.
“Ouch!” she yelled in her heart.
A pang in the waist was all Rosalie felt. Both Carlos and Giuseppe stepped forward, only to be struck to the ground by Jonathan, who then choked Giuseppe by the neck with all his fingers, suffocating the poor doctor.
“Why… Why…” At that moment, Jonathan’s eyes were still shut tight instead of being wide open. He appeared to be in a frenzy of rage.
Giuseppe struggled desperately to break free, but nothing seemed to work.

Carlos wanted to stop Jonathan, yet he could not muster any strength to rise to his feet.
Rosalie, in turn, endured the pain and charged forward. “Jon! Wake up! Come to your senses! Stop choking Dr. Giuseppe! You’re going to kill him!”
No matter how loud she shouted, Jonathan did not seem to hear a thing. His grip was not loosening, not even an ounce.
Seeing that Giuseppe’s face turning purple and his tongue sticking out, Rosalie reached out to tug at Jonathan’s hands. “Let go, Jon! Let him go! If you don’t, he’s going to-”
That time around, before she could finish her sentence, Jonathan suddenly released Giuseppe and grabbed her hand that had been trying to pry open his hands.
A sharp pain assailed Rosalie through her hand. She seemed to be reliving the agony of her bone crackling and breaking into smithereens.
Nothing could ever hurt more than that.
Rosalie almost passed out in pain. The next instant, she heard Jonathan’s hoarse roar. “Why did you leave… Why… You promised to never… ever leave me… Why…” “Jon… Jon…” she muttered to herself.
Forcing herself to open her eyes, she saw the dashing face of the man. The only difference was that a spasm of misery was contorting his handsome face at that time.
His eyes were still closed, which meant that he was still caught in the hypnosis. “I… I-I’m not leaving you, Jon. I’m here with you now…” Rosalie struggled and choked out those words. Beads of sweat kept rolling down her forehead, and her countenance turned a ghastly white owing to the pain.
Jonathan was still exerting more and more strength on his hands as if he were dying to break the woman’s hand.
Rosalie tried her best to suppress the hurtful moan. “Jon, it’s all in the past… Everything’s history. I’m by your side now. Y-You… You just need to open your eyes, and you’ll see me…”

Sadly, his hands never cease to clench her fingers. He seemed to have bent on snapping her fingers.
“Jon… I-I’m here by your side. I’ve always been with you. You’ll only need to… open your eyes, and you’ll see that I’m right in front of you…”
Before she could finish saying her piece, the man suddenly held his head and pressed his hands tightly on his temples. It looked like his fingers were digging into his own skull.
“Argh! My head! It hurts… It hurts…”
The severe headache pushed him to the brink of turning insane. He incessantly

crashed into objects in the room, causing clutter all over the place. Worse still, he began to hit the wall with his head.
“Stop it!” Rosalie suddenly shouted and rushed over with all her strength, reaching out with her other hand to block his head from smacking the wall. In an instant, his head pummeled her palm, while the back of her hand slammed the wall heavily.
Rosalie gasped with pain.
Her hand hurt, but she knew that the man was hurting even more inside.
