The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 891

Chapter 891

Rosalie’s hand was hurting even more now. She wanted to say something, but the pain had her clenching her teeth to suppress the discomfort. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead.

Jonathan promptly carried Rosalie into the car and instructed the driver to head to Levi’s clinic.

Meanwhile, Carlos quickly arranged for Zekiah to be taken to a pre-arranged hospital for an examination.

Guillermo’s young face was now filled with concern.

“Mr. Gibson, is Mommy and Zeki in danger?”

“With your daddy here, everything will be okay,” Carlos reassured.

“But…” Guillermo bit his lip. “Daddy seemed really worried just now.”

He had never seen his father so worried. The last time he remembered such concern was when a

child in his kindergarten got lost, and the teacher was frantically searching for the child.

He thought, “It was as if Daddy would go crazy if something happened to Mommy.”

Somehow, at this moment, Guillermo had a similar feeling.

“That’s because your daddy loves your mommy very much,” Carlos explained.

“Very much?” Guillermo’s eyes reflected confusion.

“You’ll understand when you grow up. To him, your mommy is extremely importánt, so he’s concerned,” Carlos said, silently praying that Rosalie would be safe.

Even though five years had passed and Jonathan’s memory wasn’t fully restored, he still cared for Rosalie. His love for Rosalie had only deepened, almost as if nothing had changed since five years

ago.

If Rosalie’s hands became unusable, it could lead to a grudge between the Youngblood family and the Gunner family.

Another storm would occur in Strico!

Levi’s clinic appeared ordinary, like many small clinics in the city.

However, the place was soon surrounded by cars. These were not ordinary vehicles, piquing the curiosity of onlookers.

A group of burly men dressed in black suits followed Jonathan into the clinic, filling it to the brim. This heightened speculation among onlookers, some even wondering if the clinic owed money and debt collectors had arrived.

When a man carried a woman whose face was twisted in pain, her hands trembling, and rushed into the clinic, everyone finally realized the true reason. It was a medical emergency!

Still, the question remained. Who were these people, necessitating such a grand entrance for medical attention?

Inside the clinic, Levi was prescribing medication for an elderly patient.

The patient, jokingly, commented on Levi’s impressive skills being wasted in such a small clinic. He suggested that if Levi had worked in a big hospital, treating important people, he would be rich by

now.

“Important people?” Levi scoffed. “Even in my little clinic, important people have been treated.”

The patient dismissed Levi’s claim, “Come on, stop boasting. What important people could come to your clinic? Housewives from the market or street vendors?”

Before he could finish, the consulting room’s door swung open. Jonathan rushed in with Rosalie in his arms, followed by a group of men in black suits.

Levi was taken aback. Without waiting for Jonathan to speak, he could see that something was seriously wrong with Rosalie. He quickly approached to examine her.

Meanwhile, the patient who had been teasing Levi was left in utter shock, feeling like he had. stepped into a scene from a TV series.

Levi shouted, “Jonathan Youngblood, what on earth happened to her? It’s only been a few days, and her hand has deteriorated so drastically. Even with treatment, I fear there might not be much hope for her hand.”

Jonathan Youngblood?

The elderly patient was taken aback. He knew of someone by that name in Strico, but it was unthinkable that this person would visit such a small clinic.

Jonathan’s actions, however, astounded him even more.

Jonathan knelt before Levi imploring him to save Rosalie’s hands. “Mr. Sabatini, no matter what, please do your best to save Rosalie’s hands. If her hands become crippled, she’ll have too many regrets.”

She needed her hands for her legal career and for embracing her children.

If her hands lost sensation and function, she wouldn’t be able to touch his face gently or warm his hands.

At this moment, Rosalie was in Jonathan’s arms, her pain making her somewhat delirious. However, she knew what was going on.

She struggled to keep her eyes half-open and said, “Jon, I… It’s okay… Even if my hands are beyond repair, I can handle it.”

She didn’t want to see him kneel. A proud man like him should never kneel.

The subordinates who entered the consulting room with Jonathan were equally surprised by this sight.

No one would believe that Jonathan was willing to get on his knees for a woman.

At this moment, another man rushed into the consulting room. It was Calvin.
