Chapter 895
If Calvin had agreed directly, Yvette would hesitate. However, Calvin had his own condition when agreeing, which made Yvette feel relieved.
“Okay, I’ll tell you what happened back then and why Rosalie fell into the sea. However, Calvin, I’m afraid you would rather know nothing after listening to me.” Yvette said.
After hearing what Yvette said, Calvin frowned.
Yvette continued, “Calvin, I hope you will keep your word.”
In Yvette’s life, she never felt that she owed anyone, including her dead sister, the injured Zachary, and her parents. Not once did she feel sorry for anything she did.
At that time, if her parents didn’t favor her sister, she wouldn’t have killed the latter. As for Zachary, she would not hate him so much if he had been sincere to her at first.
Yet, she had always felt guilty toward Felix.
She had no idea who his father was. She only remembered that one night, when she got drunk, she met a drug addict-like man on the street.
In that messy place, there were a lot of people who were addicted to drugs but didn’t have the money to buy them.
Even so, the man was really good-looking and aroused Yvette. Thus, she took him to the hotel. One night later, she left 40 dollars beside the bed.
After all, she was the one who slept with him, not the other way round.
After that, she had never seen that man again. She didn’t even know who he was. Maybe he had died because of his drug addiction.
Later, she was pregnant with Felix. She had thought about having an abortion, but somehow, her heart softened, and she gave birth to the baby.
In the past few years, that child had barely worried her. Even in the months after birth, he would only shout a few times when he was hungry.
When Yvette went out to work, he would play with some cheap toys she bought quietly.
When he was hungry, he would eat the food prepared by her. He never threw a tantrum. Sometimes, she even thought her child was too quiet.
She had always regarded that child as a dispensable existence, thinking that raising a child was the same as raising a pet.
Then, one day, Yvette had a cold and fever. She almost had no strength to get up. Even though he was only four years old, he actually cooked oatmeal for her with an instant pot and brought the cold medicine and water to her.
She woke up in a daze at midnight, only to find that he didn’t sleep at all. His dark eyes were looking at her all the time.
“Why aren’t you sleeping yet?” Yvette asked.
I’m afraid you will die. Will you die?” Felix asked in a childis
“Even if I die, you don’t have to worry about your life. The good-looking and may be adopted by a good family.”

“Only you are my mommy, though.” He said.
At that moment, her more and more aloof character over the years had a crack.
“Felix… Maybe this time, I really am leaving you,” Yvette murmured.
At that moment, Calvin returned to the car and looked at the dark night outside the window. He couldn’t help but smile bitterly.
He had learned the truth about Rosalie’s incident at sea, which was that she jumped on her own accord for Jonathan.
He didn’t expect Rosalie’s love for Jonathan to be so deep that she was willing to sacrifice her own life and the lives of three children. Back when she was pregnant with the triplets, she would’ve gladly exchanged her life for the survival of her babies. That was how much she loved them.
However, she loved Jonathan even more.
Sometime later, Zekiah woke up. Accompanied by Jonathan, Rosalie came to the hospital where Zekiah was staying.
Karina was also in the ward, the only Burton family member allowed by Jonathan to enter the ward to visit Zekiah.
As for the rest of the Burton family, after knowing Zekiah was the lost child of the Youngblood family, they experienced immense regret. They hated themselves for not treating Zekiah well when he was in the Burton residence.
Therefore, after learning Zekiah was found, they rushed to the hospital immediately. Unfortunately, they were all stopped outside the building of the inpatient department.
When Rosalie entered the hospital, she naturally met the Burton family.
Although the Burton family smiled apologetically and wanted to approach her, Rosalie ignored them at all.
