Chapter 909
In an instant, Lillian felt as if her mind was thrown into chaos.
When the concert was over and Callum drove her back to her residential area, she was still thinking about what Callum had said and the song he sang.
“Someone like him actually took singing lessons so that he can sing for… me?”
“You can talk to Jerick about your pregnancy, but don’t you’re not willing to tell your parents?” Callum’s voice broke the silence in the car.
“Ah!” Lillian suddenly came back to her senses. “The reason I told Jerick was to make things clear, as I don’t want to get in the way of his relationship.”
He stared intently at her. “You are always concerned about Jerick What about me?”
Lillian hesitated for a moment and said, “Callum, I don’t want to marry another man just for the sake of my child. If that’s the only reason for marriage, I would rather be a single mother and raise my children alone just like Amelia!”
After a pause, she took a deep breath and mustered her courage to say, “Besides, I haven’t decided if I want to keep the baby or not.”
Once the baby was born, she would be entangled with him forever.
This child would become a lifelong connection between them. Perhaps in the end, it might end up being hurt the most.
Callum’s eyes darkened further. “So, you don’t believe that I love you, do you?”
“I believe it,” she said, “but I also believe that if I were to conflict with your career again one day, I would be one to be abandoned.”
After saying that, Lillian opened the door and got out of the car. “By the way, you can send someone to take those packages away. I don’t need them.”
“If you don’t want them, just throw them away.” Callum said indifferently, “Lillian, I’ll only tell you for one last time. Don’t make a decision too hastily. Give me some time. As long as… just give me more time!” After saying that, Callum’s car drove away. Lillian just stood there with confusion brimming from her eyes.
“What does he mean about giving him more time?” She couldn’t understand what he said at all. She thought, ‘Isn’t five years enough? How much more time does he need?
Could more time really help solve the problem between us? Could we really go back to the way we used to be?’
Lillian lowered her head and looked at her flat abdomen. “My current situation doesn’t give me the luxury of time.”
For her, the child was growing up day by day in her belly, and she had to make a decision as soon as possible.
Rosalie’s hand operation went well, but her fingers could hardly move in a week. Therefore, she stayed a “cripple” for another week.
She needed help to eat, drink, and even when she went to the bathroom.
Jonathan directly made her ward his office. When she was awake during the day, he would take care of her while working.
“I feel like I can’t do anything without you,” Rosalie said.
“Isn’t it good to rely on me? In fact, I hope you can rely on me more,” Jonathan said.
“Aren’t you afraid that once I grow more and more dependent on you, I’ll end up becoming a burden?” she joked.
He raised his eyes slightly and looked at her. “Rosalie, you will never be my burden. You are everything to
-me.”
Her heart skipped a beat. “This man is still deeply in love with me, nothing has changed for the past five

years.”
She moved her body and got out of bed.
“What’s the matter? Do you want some water or go to the bathroom?” he asked as he stood up and walked quickly to her side.
“Nothing. It’s just… I suddenly feel like touching you,” Rosalie said. Although the bandage on her hand had been removed and she only needed to apply some scar removal ointment to the wound every day, she still couldn’t move her fingers. Instead, she needed to go through electrotreatment to stimulate the nerves of her hands every day.
“So where do you want to touch? My Face?” Jonathan said, holding Rosalie’s hand gently and placing it on his cheek.
He then pressed his cold check against her warm fingers, before gently gently rubbing it against her palm.
He thought, ‘She always makes me feel warm.
The truth is, I’m the one who relies on her!’
Jonathan took Rosalie’s hand and slowly brushed it along his chin, then to his neck and collarbone. Finally, he unbuttoned his clothes with one hand and gently placed her hand on his chest, where his heart was, with the other.
Rosalie blushed. Although her hands couldn’t move at that moment, it didn’t mean that she had lost her sense of touch. She could still feel the warmth of his skin and seemingly the thumping of his heart. “I’m all yours. You can touch anything you want,” he murmured.
Right then, she suddenly felt aroused. “Doesn’t he know how suggestive those words are?”
