Kaylie couldn’t help but sob. 

Connor could only say to Rosalie, “Let her cry. She has been bottling up her emotions for too long.” However, Kaylie cried so sadly that Rosalie couldn’t help but wonder about it.

Kaylie took out a few lunch boxes from the bags and opened them, which were full of homemade Strico dishes.

“Jon, you’re here!” Rosalie greeted Jonathan. 

“Yes, I’m.” Jonathan looked at Kaylie coldly. After a while, he lowered his head and held Rosalie’s hand. “Do you remember what you said? That no matter what happens, you will stand by my side?” 

“I do. Why are you suddenly bringing this up again?” Rosalie was confused. 

“It is because I have something important to do next,” Jonathan said. 

Then, Jonathan looked at Kaylie again. “Do you think by doing this, you can wipe away the past, Mrs. Smuckler? How can a person like you dare to show up in front of my father?”
