The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 936

Chapter 936

However, Jonathan interrupted Rosalie. “How much do you love me, Rosalie? Maybe your love for me has never been as deep as I thought!”

“In the end, I was just deceiving myself!” thought Jonathan.

“Since you kneel to me for this woman, I can stop here today, but there is no next time. I won’t forgive her. If you really want to oppose me for this woman, it means you’re never serious about your love for me!”

After Jonathan had said that, he turned around and left. The bodyguards also left immediately. Kaylie collapsed on the ground. Connor hurriedly stepped forward, held his wife, and asked anxiously, “How are you? Are you okay?”

Kaylie’s face was pale at the moment, but her forehead was red due to the bleeding.

“Jonathan hates me. He hates me…” Kaylie didn’t answer her husband’s question but kept murmuring, tears running down her eyes.

Connor helped his wife up. “This grievance cannot be resolved overnight. Maybe in the future, he will forgive you.”

“Forgive me?” Upon hearing that, Kaylie smiled bitterly and said, “He won’t forgive me!”

Rosalie stepped forward and said, “Let’s leave here first. Your wound needs to be treated!”

Connor nodded repeatedly. Kaylie looked at Rosalie and said apologetically, “Sorry to have caused you to argue with Jonathan. Don’t plead for me anymore. I deserve what Jonathan will do to me! I owe this to him and his father!”

“Mrs. Smuckler, stop talking about that and deal with your forehead first,” Rosalie said hurriedly, but she couldn’t stop thinking about Jonathan.

When Jonathan left just then, the disappointment in his eyes was branded in her mind.

She knew that she had hurt him seriously earlier.

The three of them walked out of the cemetery. As soon as they arrived outside, Jonathan’s men stopped them.

Rosalie saw that Carlos was also among them. At that moment, Carlos said to Connor and Kaylie, “Mr. Youngblood has arranged accommodation for you two. Please come with us.”

Connor said harshly, “What are you trying to do? Imprison us, huh?”

“Mr. Smuckler, calm down. If you don’t want to go there, you can naturally leave now. However, when Mrs. Smuckler left back then, she caused severe injury to someone and their death. Although it has been. so many years, a case was formed about it back then. You are a lawyer. Do you understand what this means?”

“What injury? What death?” Connor scolded.

“The death of Mr. Youngblood’s father, of course. Before your wife left, Mr. Youngblood was seriously injured by her and was almost killed in the hospital. These hospital records are still retrievable,” Carlos said.

After hearing that, Kaylie burst into tears again.

“Therefore, I’ll ask again. Do you two want to go to the place Mr. Youngblood has arranged for you or the police station now?” Carlos asked.

Connor looked at Kaylie and sighed. “Kaylie needs to be treated by a doctor first.”

“Someone will treat her wound,” Carlos opened the door.

Connor helped Kaylie get into the car. Rosalie asked Carlos, “Where are you taking them?”

“If you wish to know to know, you can ask Mr. Youngblood,” Carlos replied politely.

“What about Jonathan? Where is he now?” Rosalie asked.

“I don’t know,” Carlos replied. “Before he left, he only told me about Mr. and Mrs. Smuckler. He didn’t say anything else. I’m just a subordinate, so it’s not appropriate for me to ask Mr. Youngblood about his

whereabouts.”

After Carlos had finished speaking, he left with Connor and Kaylie. Rosalie looked at the distant car in a daze, feeling as though what had happened an hour ago was a dream.

Originally, she had been happy to welcome Connor and Kaylie to visit Strico. To her surprise, Kaylie was Jonathan’s missing mother, and he hated her more than she thought.

Rosalie wondered where Jonathan had gone to.

Hurriedly, Rosalie took out her phone and dialed Jonathan’s number, but no one answered it no matter how many

times she called.
