The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike novel Chapter 946

Chapter 946

But she continued to tightly embrace him, deepening the kiss incessantly. It was as if this moment was everything for her!

After a long time, the kiss finally ended, and her face, hair, and body had been thoroughly wet by warm

water.

“What’s wrong?” Jonathan raised his hand, wiping away the water droplets on Rosalie’s face, and asked.

“Um… I just suddenly wanted to tell you that I love you!” Rosalie said. With a delicate chin, finely shaped nose, eyes that glistened even more due to moisture, and pink lips that parted and came together, she seemed attractive and pitiful. If she hadn’t said it, no one would have thought that she was the mother of three children.

“You suddenly rush in just to tell me that you love me?” he chuckled. After all, it seemed to be the first time for her to do so.

“Yes,” she said, her fingers gently sliding across his eyebrows, the corners of his eyes, his nose bridge, and finally resting on his lips. “Jon, I hope you understand, no matter what, you are the one I love the most!” He fixed his gaze on her.

His fingers untied her clothes, and the warm water kept washing their bodies. When he carried her out of the bathroom and returned to bed, she held his face. After a tender moment, Rosalie’s stomach made an untimely gurgling sound. “What? Are you hungry?” Jonathan asked.

“Well, a little. When I was in the hospital with Lillian, I didn’t eat much,” she replied. “I’ll have someone cook something to eat then.” He got up and put on his pajamas.

“Don’t!” She hurriedly pulled him. “It’s so late. The housekeepers are asleep. I’ll go to the kitchen and make something with whatever ingredients I can find.”

“Then I’ll do it. I’ll bring it to you when it’s ready,” he said.

She took her clothes and put them on. “Let me do it. I haven’t cooked for you in a long time. I’ll make something, and we can eat together.”

Because of the “exercise” just now, her body felt a bit sore, and she naturally dressed slowly.

Jonathan leaned over to help Rosalie get dressed, his long fingers buttoning her clothes one by one. Finally, he squatted down to put slippers on her feet.

Rosalie lowered her head and looked at the man kneeling on one knee in front of her in a daze. Her eyes moisten subconsciously.

After getting dressed, the two of them went downstairs. At this moment, the first floor was quiet, with hardly anyone around.

Rosalie went to the kitchen, looked at the ingredients in the refrigerator, and then said to Jonathan, “How about I make a vegetable beef soup? It’s quick. The beef will be cooked after being put into a pot.”

“Okay, you can do anything you want,” Jonathan said with a smile.

Rosalie’s body suddenly trembled slightly. “Really… I can do anything?” When she said this, her voice was hesitant.

“Yes, anything. Whatever you do, I’ll eat it.” His eyes were like water, and this gentleness was just for her and the children. He looked very different in front of others at ordinary times.

Rosalie suddenly felt that the vegetables and beef in her hand became extremely heavy. She forced a smile. “If what I made is too unpleasant to swallow, will you still eat it?”

“Even if you give me poison,,I will take it,” he said calmly.

“You…” she choked.

“But I know you won’t, because you can’t bear to, right?” he said.

She replied in a low voice, “Yes, I can’t bear to.”

The vegetable beef soup was ready. They sat at the dining table, and Jonathan took the forks and spoons before they started to eat.

“Jon, do you believe me?” Rosalie suddenly asked.

“As long as you don’t betray me, I will always believe you,” Jonathan answered.

Rosalie’s hand holding the fork tightened unconsciously. “If… one day, I had no choice but to betray you? If there were too many reasons for the accidental betrayal, would you…” She pursed her lips and, with difficulty, said, “Forgive me?”

“What if I don’t forgive you?” he said casually as he continued to eat the vegetable beef soup made by her. Her fingers suddenly loosened, and the fork in her hand made a crisp sound as it fell onto the tabletop. He looked up, glanced at the fork, and then fixed his gaze on her face. “What’s wrong? Surprised that I would say something like that?”

“Surprised… yes, indeed, it was surprising,” Rosalie admitted in her heart.

Jonathan said, “Anyone in this world can betray me. Carlos, Gary, and even Guille and the other children. But you, Rosie, only you can’t betray me.”

Rosalie was suddenly stunned, never expecting to hear him say such words.

“Only… I can’t?” she stammered.
