The CEO's Lovely Twins novel Chapter 127

“How about Hayden?” Viola looked hurt, and she persistently pursued her questioning, “So you think that she is much more suitable for being Noah’s mother than me, is it?”

Joseph frowned slightly and nodded after a moment of contemplation, “Yes.”

Sometimes, it wasn’t necessary to be clear to everyone about the things in his mind. He used to settle most of the problems he encountered efficiently, and such an answer would end this conversation at the moment.

As expected, although Viola had a bad look, she didn’t pursue further questions.

Viola clenched her fist all the way into the lift after leaving Joseph’s office. After all, if it wasn’t for Hayden, she would still be the right person for Joseph to marry.

As she was about to close the lift door, she heard a teenager’s clear voice, “Hold on.”

Subconsciously, she let the lift remained open, and she vaguely remembered hearing this voice before. As she raised her head, the person just walked into the lift calmly, nodding to her, “Thank you.”

Viola turned pale at the moment she saw the teenager’s face. The teenager would have seen the bad look on her face if she hadn’t had her sunglasses on.

“You…”

“What’s the matter?” The teenager looked at her puzzlingly, “Do you know me?”

Viola clenched her fist and denied, with the hat and sunglasses hiding her face, “Nope, I don’t.”

Although some people might look alike, the person in front of her looked exactly the same as the missing Lachlan Kelly.

But he seemed to not recognize her.

The lift door opened slowly after a ding. Viola watched the teenager leaving without turning back, and then she came to her senses gradually. She went to the reception to ask, “Isn’t that the hotel not receiving guests temporarily? What’s on with that guy who just left?”

Lillian was on duty at the reception.

“Do you mean Benjamin? He’s a friend of Ms. Downey. Mr. Beckham arranged for him to stay here. He isn’t a guest.”

Everyone in the ST Hotel only knew that Benjamin was a friend that Joseph arranged for him to stay in personally, so nobody knew his identity. Not many knew about his memory loss as he usually hid well.

Viola frowned even deeper.

How could he be Hayden’s friend? That was apparently Lachlan.

Or maybe he had told Joseph about the investigation of Caesar previously?

Thinking of this, Viola turned pale. She made a call, and she was flustered as she spoke, “Jason, I saw Lachlan. It’s getting troublesome now.”

Hayden had a good sleep, and it was already dark outside as she woke up. The lights from behind the screen illuminated the bedroom warmly. She opened her sleepy eyes and smelled something good.

“Why didn’t you wake me up?”

Hayden got out of bed, walked to the back of the screen, and saw Joseph eating alone at the table. There were three dishes with one soup, served with fruits and desserts on the table.

“Aren’t you awake now even if I didn’t wake you up?” Joseph raised his head, teasing, “Puppies and kittens normally wake up when smelling their food.”

“You’re the puppy and kitten.” Hayden stared at him as she pulled a chair, “Humans do wake up to smelling the fragrance.”

Joseph didn’t respond while he served a bowl of soup and put it in front of her, “Chicken soup. Have a try.”

“You cooked it?”

“Sort of.”

Hayden was stunned. She was just checking, and how could she expect a spoiled child like him to cook chicken soup for her?
