“What did you say?” Hayden was surprised.
“It’s a description of elder boys,” Anna explained immediately.
“Elder boys?” Hayden still didn’t understand.
Anna tried hard to make Hayden understand what kind of man was more popular now. Hayden was astounded by what she explained.
“Anyway, a puppy-boy is very thoughtful. He will respect you and often surprise you. But wolf-boys will be more manly and possessive. They will care about you and they won’t let you do any housework.”
“It seems that they are quite wonderful.” Hayden thought for a while and said, “No wonder they are so popular now.”
“The brand ambassador that we hire this time is also a sweet puppy boy.”
“Really?” Hayden couldn’t imagine how sweet a man would be, especially he was over twenty.
After a while, they arrived at the studio.
Although Anna was so excited talking about all kinds of young handsome boys in the car, she still took her job seriously when she was in the studio. She and two assistants shared the cake and coffee bought from Starbucks with the staff. And then after Hayden signaled to her that she could leave for a while, she ran to that brand ambassador to ask for a photograph with his autograph on it.
Hayden did not follow Anna. She was uninterested in dealing with the stars in entertainment circle. Actually, she tried to avoid getting close to them because Freddie kept talking about their astonishing stories in the phone.
Hayden saw that Anna and the model, that brand ambassador, were taking photos from a distance. The model was much taller than Anna. And because of the powerful light, he looked so pale that his face was difficult to recognize.
With a cup of coffee in her hand, Hayden caught a glimpse of them and then chatted with the studio staff next to her.
A few moments later, Anna came back to her.
“Ms. Downey, this is Leon, the spokesperson of this commercial.”
“Leon?” Hayden was surprised by this name and looked up at him for a split second. It was the first time that she had ever seen him clearly. Standing behind Anna, Leon, who had millions of fans, was sensationally good-looking. His dark brown eyes were clear like the spring water.
He was attractive with his fair skin and brown curls. His haircut reminded Hayden of toy poodle. And she thought, this Leon, the pretty boy, had nothing in common with the killer Leon in the movie, Léon.
“Hello,” She managed to force a smile, trying to be polite.
Leon shook hands with her, with an enormous grin spreading across his face.
“You are much younger than I thought. And you’re drop-dead gorgeous!” His voice was mesmerizing.
Hayden went blank for a while and soon replied him, “Thanks, you are so sweet. Do other young people are also sweet like you now?”
“You look like a twenty-year-old girl,” Leon blinked his eyes and said earnestly, “So you are also a young girl.”
Laughing out, Hayden could not help glancing at Anna. Now she understood how sweet could he be.
“There are cakes and coffee, have some and take a rest.” Hayden still kept being polite, “I have something else to do and I must go. See you next time.”
She was about to leave when she felt a jerk at her sleeve. She turned around, and her eyes met Leon’s.
“When?” He was serious.
Hayden frowned slightly. She was offhand with him, and she didn’t think there would be the next time that they met each other if the commercial shoot could be done today.
Now that he asked, she had to make an appointment with him.
“I would invite you to dinner after the shooting.”
Hearing that, Leon beamed instantly and said, “The shooting will be done this afternoon, so we can have dinner tonight. It’s a deal.”
