The CEO's Lovely Twins novel Chapter 320

A similar figure in a white shirt was standing not far away. Hayden took a relief when he turned around. It’s Franklin.

He walked up to Hayden before Tomas tried to introduce him to Hayden.

“It’s been a while, my future sister-in-law.”

Hayden scowled. “What are you doing here?”

She didn’t try to conceal her loathing in her voice.

Franklin stood the golf club on the ground and used it to prop himself, inclining slightly forward. “You seem to be unhappy to see me here, my future sister-in-law. You didn’t tell her, Tomas?”

Hayden looked at Tomas in confusion.

Tomas frowned. “I thought Miss Hayden knew. Mr. Beckham set this collaboration up. Mean no offense, our company is way out of your league. We wouldn’t have agreed if it’s not for Mr. Beckham.”

Hayden paused a moment. “You set this up?”

“Surprised?”

Franklin put on a sly smile. “We are going to be family now. And it is only natural that family help each other. Take this as an apology for what I have done.”

Only a retard would believe Franklin.

“Don’t be patronizing. You act like you have done me a huge favor. But where is the contract, huh? You are not trying to play your old trick and use this contract to induce me to do something, are you?”

“I am, indeed. But you won’t lose anything.”

He held up the club with two hands and examined it. “All I want is somebody to hit a few balls with. We’ll sign the contract if you goal with less strikes.”

Frowning, Hayden looked at him with suspicion. “Really?”

“Sure, you have my word.”

“Alright.”

Hayden gave Anna a look and took the club from her. “I hope you won’t go back your words by then.”

“Of course not.”

Rubbing his club, Franklin smiled slyly.

Hayden had been playing golf since she was a kid. It was her grandpa’s sport. Her grandpa used to take her with him when he played golf, and she grew up learning from golf masters.

Hayden’s personal record was 61 strikes while the world record 55. She was still young when she set her record, her coach said she was a genius.

Their contest started at 2:30 p.m. when the sun brushed the horizon, Hayden hit her 61st strike and had one last hole to hit in. Franklin took 63 strikes.

She’s not far from the hole. This would be the end, Hayden thought to herself after an estimate.

Franklin came up to her suddenly.

“You do play golf wonderfully, were you trained before?”

“You’re asking too much. The only thing you have to know is that you’ll sign the contract after this.”

“Of course.” He smile, and then lowered his voice. “Seems like Lyon didn’t serve you well last night. You are full of energy.”

Hayden’s face became pale at Franklin’s insinuation. She looked to him in shock.
