Hayden didn’t even change her face, “I was on leave when you went there.”
Ted frowned, but didn’t ask further.
To him, he didn’t really care if Rebekah brought a woman with her. He only wanted the money. He didn’t really expect that Rebekah had saved so much money these years and was able to pool the money in such a short amount of time.
Thinking about this, he suddenly regretted and had asked for more.
Looking at his greedy face, Hayden felt nauseous. If it weren’t for this man, Rebekah wouldn’t have led such a hard life and Joseph wouldn’t have become such an indifferent person because he didn’t have a loving family.
It was this evil man who was like a blood-sucking vampire caused all of these.
It was getting dark and quiet outside.
Looking at her watch, Hayden noticed that the yellow-headed thug who was guarding Benjamin was dozing off and yawning against the bearing wall with the corner of her eyes
Ted can’t keep sober either and had to smoke a cigarette every then minutes to pick him up.
Hayden coughed slightly and immediately heard a voice from the micro-mike in her ear.
“Copy that. Stand by.”
There were two teams of special forces clad in grass green anti-riot suit creeping on the ground and circled the whole plant. One of the frisky female special soldiers climbed up the pipe along the wall after receiving the team leader’s gesturing.
The throat of the guard on the second floor was immediately locked and injected anesthetic before he can even realize there was someone climbing over the wall.
A camouflaged face then appeared under the dim light and only someone who was familiar to her can tell she was Blossom.
Blossom’s face was pretty intense. She had never for once come to save a hostage with such an emotion after taking part in so many exercises. At this moment, the sound of her nearly inaudible steps were completely masked by the sound of wind in darkness.
After a few tumbling, she successfully hid herself in the corner of the first floor.
The first floor was pretty open and apart from the bearing wall, there was nearly no shelter. Those outlaws would definitely see her as long as she approached them, so she can’t play with fire.
It was already daylight outside.
“Call Archie and see how things are going right now.”
Ted impatiently grounded the cigarette out and said, “It was freezing cold here. Tell that woman that I’ve changed my mind. I will immediately kill this boy and the waiter that she brought with her if she doesn’t bring me the money before ten o’clock.
“Yes.” The yellow-headed thug immediately woke up and dialed a number while yawning.
“Shit.”
Hayden suddenly heard a low yet anxious voice from the mike.
Her heart immediately skipped a bit and was afraid that the special soldier waiting at the band had already arrested that Archie.”
The yellow-headed thug finally got through Archie after a while. He then yelled, “Archie, how come that you didn’t call us this whole night. What is going on now? had the bank opened yet?”
The call was on speaker and the whole plant can hear Archie’s voice.
“The bank won’t open till nine o’clock. We have to wait much longer.”
Hayden let out a sigh of relief and didn’t really know if it was that the police was pressuring Archie or they hadn’t arrested him yet.
“Tell that woman that our boss had said that we would only wait for her till ten o’clock. She has to bring the money over quickly. We’re so fucking cold here.”
Archie answered, “Okay, I got it.”
Then the yellow-headed thug hung up the phone and looked at Ted. “Boss.”
