Chapter 100
He lifted his hand, gently brushing the tip of her nose. His eyes were so tender it was as if they could melt at any moment. “There you go again. I don’t want your thanks, just remember that I am your best friend, that’s enough.”
Her heart was basking in the sunshine, warm and comforting. “You’re the best, the only, the irreplaceable. best friend!” Her words were clear, strong, and full of conviction.
Arnold chuckled, her beautiful face mirrored in his clear eyes, creating ripples of joy.
Avery, having just finished his scenes, stood not too far away, catching this tender moment. He couldn’t help but laugh.
He was sure now. His sister was fond of Arnold, and Arnold obviously felt the same way about her.
Their mutual affection was about to overflow, so why didn’t they just admit their feelings?
Leopold, too, had noticed. Through the dim car window, he watched from afar.
His mouth tasted like he had just bitten into a lemon, the sourness spreading from his tongue to his heart, even making his breath taste sour.
His heart was in agony, and his fists clenched slowly.
Aurelia was walking towards him. As soon as she pulled open the car door, he pulled her inside.
She flinched slightly, instinctively moving closer to the car window. “Are we having a video conference?”
Leopold stared at her intently, then suddenly pulled her into his arms and kissed her hard.
“Uh…” Her eyes opened wide with fear, her body stiffened, unable to move.
What had she done wrong today? Why was he punishing her like this?
His kiss was domineering, filled with a strong desire to possess. It was as if he wanted to consume her entirely.
Her breath, her thoughts, her reason, they all seemed to have been swallowed by him. Her eyes drooped weakly, and her body slumped into his arms….
Not far away, behind a large tree, Avery stole a peek. Through the dim car window, he saw their intertwined figures, barely discernible.
He was stunned, unable to believe his own eyes, rubbing them hard.
Just moments ago, his sister was having a sweet moment with Arnold, and now she was making out with
her boss in a car?
Was she… playing them both? And these two were brothers!
A bolt from the blue struck Avery, leaving him dazed and panicked.
His sister was always so pure–hearted, rejecting all the guys who pursued her.
She said she would only fall in love once, and it would be with her future husband.
How could this be happening?
He quietly left, finding a secluded corner, pulling out his phone, and dialing Aurelia’s number,
Inside the Rolls–Royce.
Aurelia was almost melting away, his kiss was like a burning flame. It was dangerous, but irresistible.
Chapter 100
Her phone kept ringing, finally bringing them back from their passionate embrace.
