Chapter 32
“Who is the wrong person?” he asked again, teeth clenched.
Aurelia took a deep breath, his oppressive aura was so strong and terrifying. It was suffocating her.
“To each other, we are both wrong. You are a blue–blooded elite, noble and perfect. The mother of your child should be a debutante of your match, not a grassroots girl like me.”
She paused, swallowing the bitter pain in her heart, “And I want to find a suitable boyfriend and have a real relationship. I don’t want to be constantly restricted and bound by you. Can we return to our previous paths, without affecting each other? This only brings immense pressure.”
She let it all out, pouring out her troubles, completely oblivious to the man’s darkening expression.
He stared at her small mouth, a growing urge building within him as her voice grew louder and more uncontrollable.
Suddenly, he leaned down and silenced her with a kiss.
“Hmm.” Aurelia shivered in surprise, her eyes widening in shock.
She instinctively raised her hand, aiming for his shoulder, trying to push him away, but he didn’t let go. Instead, he increased his hold on her lips.
“Mmm.”
She was becoming oxygen–deprived, her head dizzy, her eyes closing.
After a while.
He slowly let go, a flicker of desire burning in his dark eyes.
Looking at her swollen lips, he felt his anger gradually disappear, replaced by a sense of satisfaction he had never felt before.
“This wasn’t a kiss. It was a punishment.”
His voice was barely audible, deep and raspy, almost a whisper.
He decided then, any time she dared to provoke him, he would punish her like this.
It was as if a cold wind blew through, waking the dazed woman.
She felt a wave of embarrassment, her cheeks flushed red.
She knew her place.
He despised her so much. How could he possibly kiss her?
Using all her strength, she pushed him away roughly. She ran to the bed, pulled up the covers and hid her head, like an ostrich, wanting to hide herself.
“Please leave!”
Leopold’s eyes slowly turned cold, a chill spreading, “Even if it’s a mistake, before the child is born, you can

only move according to my track, without any freedom.”
He dropped these cold words and walked out.
Aurelia felt as if she had fallen into an ice cellar, shivering with cold.
But she wasn’t a fragile egg, but a rubber ball. The harder she was hit, the stronger she bounced back.
The Paris Jewelry Show was soon, and Aurelia was busy with her new designs during this time.
Although she wasn’t the chief designer, she could finally use her own name.
This time, she chose Darcy and Jenny from her department, whom she had a good relationship with, to accompany her. During lunch, she called them to the conference room for a small meeting.
She wanted to shoot an advertising campaign for the new designs for the exhibition.
“Aurelia, the company’s ace photographer and supermodel have been booked by Kelly. Next week, they’re going to Embergate to shoot a new promotional film for the ‘Whisper‘, so they can’t shoot ours.” Jenny pouted.
Aurelia knew that Kelly did it on purpose, secretly tripping her up, wanting her to make a fool of herself and miss out on Paris.
She wouldn’t let her succeed. As an ordinary girl, she had to seize every opportunity in this cutthroat world and strive to rise.
