Leopold, hadn’t agreed to reconcile with him. 

But now, everything was settled. Their relationship had come to an irrevocable end. 

“Arnold, our home in Goldstone is beautiful, and we are happy, but we can never return. I have to go. William and I probably won’t live here anymore, and you should go back to Lisa, and take good care of her.” 

Arnold’s heart shattered as if it had exploded into a million pieces. 

“Aurelia!” He reached out to grab her, but she had already walked out. 

“Aurelia!” He collapsed to the ground, clutching his chest in unbearable pain. He knew the only reason she had been living here, not moving out, was because she was waiting for him.

[I’m drinking, come and join me.] After sending the message, she tossed her phone aside.
